Hi all. Every once in a while I have to shut the computer. It keeps opening windows and I can't post until I restart.
We had a bit of rain but it was in the 60s, sandal weather, yes!
Went to the dentist, "look ma, no cavities, yay"!
Doglover, glad the synthetic suede works. ITA, it's a much nicer lining than slippery rubber. Feet sweat, who needs to slide around in their sandals?
I kept the light. I see you have the same issue with it being too dark compared to the neck. I need chin coverage so I can't thin it out there too much. You can take a dab of the IT and a blob of face cream, mix and apply from under the chin down the neck. Hate to use a pricy BB that way. Today I just used less towards the edges like you do.
ITA, Puritan's Pride has always offered great prices and products, and still sends out real paper catalogs!
Pepe's mom, it was windy and rainy here last night too and more rain later.
Nothing new with the remodeling. DH is just trying to get everything back in that he had to take out. If I ever get to a shoe-store with Go-Walks, will check them out.
Not sure what I will do with the Barkley sandals. The straps really hurt my ankle. Not sure if I had them too tight, didn't think so. I do think the soles are good. Not sure if they are padded enough, and my big toe hurts a bit on the bottom after wearing. So, don't know yet. They are secure with all the straps. I am always walking out of my Birks which isn't safe.
Hi Vonlam, nice to see you again!
Janet, I'd love to see Vegas and the surrounding sites. Maybe some day.

OOOH, just read that HSN will debut Sofia Vergara's new perfume, called Sofia, on April 24th. The notes all sound great, although there is a sandalwood bottom-note. Still wanna try it, lol!

Hi everyone, i have not posted here in quite some time :-)
vonIam, no I don't have anything wireless other than my mouse. The blu ray player is plugged into the TV. I have nothing wireless here. I can click on Netflix when I turn my blu ray player on and click on for a trial membership than says okay than comes back and says it doesn't recognize any Ethernet cable? That is all I know. BTW, welcome back, haven't seen you in awhile.

Janet, I got a big sharpener quite a while ago when I got a set of Tarte chubby crayon type eye liners. They are very nice but no better than either the Ulta or the Rimmel ScandalEyes ones so, can't see to pay that much difference being they go on and stay on exactly the same exact way and length of time. Just glad that sharpener works on all of them. I got a kit(3 actually) of the Tarte chubby eye lining crayons when they had a special at Ulta a year or two ago, 4 in a box.
I sure am wearing my sandals every day but do have to put my go walks on for late night after midnight since it is still cold late night.
I got a nice tree type pole light at Target for $39.99, 3 lights are separate, can light 1, 2 or 3. Each has it's own turn switch on the top of the light. It is brushed nickel and is great for reading, takes three 60 watt bulbs and believe me that works. We only use 2, shine one on each of our recliners and is fantastic thank goodness. Our recliner has a table between them, small one with 2 cup holders and 2 drawers in the front. We put the tree pole light behind that table and most of the base, 1/2 of it, slips under that table and snugs up to it and if fine, works great. DH thought he was going to have to put an over head light over the recliners. He did put 4 in the living room, 2 in each bedroom, all those big ball since they went with everything we have. He put recesses ones in the tub/shower area of course and 2 in the family room but put a ceiling fan in the middle that he is now going to put a light kit on the bottom of that. He is very handy and can do almost anything other than anything to do with a computer. DS isn't as handy but can do anything electronic other than a computer too so, am on my own with the computer and I am not at all computer savvy, neighbor has to help when I have a problem or up to Staples I go, only 5 minutes away thank goodness.
Desi, like you, already wearing sandals, started the first of this month and have them all out already but need my go walks late night. You must try some on when you get someplace that carries the W widths, think you will find them very comfy. They have a nice arch which I like and fit and feel secure for walking. Same here, we must be similar in coloring since I thought the light was perfect till I it is staying light longer and I looked at my face and neck in the car mirror in daytime, can definitely see at the jaw line so had to adjust application a bit for that area but the rest of my face is great with the light so, always a compromise huh. It doesn't sound like your Barkley sandals are very comfy at all. Shoes are funny for me, really am a shoe a holic but really have to try them on but took a chance with those TSV orthaheel sandals and do love them but sent others back in that brand that didn't fit at all nicely, uncomfortable so, really prefer to try shoes on but sometimes just fall in love with a pair I see online. Yes, family doctor turned us on to Puritans Pride for vitamins and always get a catalogue and buy when they have buy 1 and get 2 free, good deals.
pepesmom, don't think any or not many anyway are more physically challenged with a computer than I am. I know nothing and is why I don't go to most sites. Dumb me thought if I got a blu ray player that has Netflix built in all I had to do was get a subscription and pay my monthly $8 for it, not the case at all. Hope you are loosening up a bit and not in as much pain. Hope the PT is helping, did me but was more that electrical pulses while having a warm damp heating compress against me during it that helped the most as well as the massaging or whatever it was they called it using those stainless steel rods.
Says I should get my Wonderstruck on the 10 th, hope so. I took a chance and ordered Vanilla Fields too, so cheap and got great reviews and do like vanilla scents so will see, was sure cheap enough. It is 2 ounces. I like vanilla and like a soft jasmine so, should also like this.

Watching Mally. Noticed when I put it on the high-def channel, the models have some cracking and wrinkles at the mouth corners. Makes me feel better, maybe my It CC doesn't look any worse?
Had another test, probably fine, one to go tomorrow, retina check. I never schedule 3 in a row. I scheduled the dentist yesterday, the other 2 were rescheduled for some reason by the doctors.
I do think the instep strap hurt my ankle. It still hurts so I am afraid to loosen it and try again until it feels better. Right now even Birks hurt there.
I think that tree lamp sounds good, I could use one here too.
If one of my boys were here I'd ask about your needing a cable. They know everything but have little patience for those of us who are clueless.
Do you think they will come out with a fairly-light IT CC? I guess if you have a lot of light by the next shipment, you could order fair to mix them, but it's definitely too light for you by itself. I'm almost afraid to be stuck with a huge tube of the wrong shade, although I am wearing it. If they are really switching all manufacturing from China to the US I imagine they will try to get rid of current stock. Although, Asia does do CC creams really well, not sure the US will do better.
April Fields has been around forever. I had a bottle go bad it was so old. You may really like it. To me it smells almost identical to PSS vanilla-orchid. I even asked Paulette if that was what it was a dupe of but she said no.

Desi -- A really nice sunny day but the air is cool and the wind is still cold.
Glad your dental checkup went well -- no cavities. Good luck on your retina checkup tomorrow.
When in Rite Aid spotted Skin Below the Chin products which must be a new item for them. They had shower gel, lotion andt body spray -- I bought a small body spray called Pure & Clean with Moroccan Argan Oil. Smells a lot like Pure Grace but not much staying power at all. May try the shower gel next although I really don't need it!
Also bought a product called Stop Blood which is gauze and stops nos.ebleeds too. Good to have on hand.
Sounds like your sandals aren't too comfortable. I've walked out of my Birki's too and hit my instep on the back of the shoe -- Ouch!!
doglover -- Your tree type lamp sounds really nice and like the fact that you can just light the ones you need. You are so lucky that DH is so handy electronically. Recessed lights in the bathroom must be a great help.
I saw a sharpener on Ulta for use on all Ulta products so I'm going to send for it as soon as I get another order together.
Thanks -- the Coty Vanilla Fields like a fragrance I would like -- I love vanilla and jasmine.
DD came about noon and picked up Benson -- DD said their white cat was missing him and crying. She a tough time getting him the car; don't know how she managed to lift him. This morning he didn't want to come downstairs and stood on the landing barking but we finally coaxed him down.
Rec'd a notice from Microsoft today saying they will no longer update Windows XP or offer security. I have AVG antivirus so I hope that's enough. Had no problem signing in or searching the web so far.
pepes mom -- Sunny but a cold breeze here today.
Thanks for the telling me about the GoWalks and that the regular width is wide enough for you. I'm going to have to give them a try.
Hope you you are all doing well.
vonlam -- Nice to see you posting again -- I'm technically challenged; it I have a problem have to ask my neighbor.
Have a nice day everyone!

Janet, thanks for the good wishes on my appt. tomorrow. Hope that is the last appt. for a couple of weeks.
Still trying the sandals. I loosened the ankle and back-strap as much as possible without having them fall off. If that doesn't work, guess they will go back. I have also stepped hard on the back edge of a Birki when they slipped forward. Painful, might even have caused my heel-pad (part of the foot) to shift.
Glad Benson is back with his kitty. They do get lonely for each other. it's very sad when one passes away, then the other one is left kind of in limbo.
Hope your computer is okay. I never know if mine is, just keep hoping.

Desi, like you and Janet I too have slipped off the back of my Birks and my Betula's and instep landed on the hard back edge. You sure can say ouch again, really hurt. Good luck at the retina doctor. DH goes next Wednesday to the eye doctor I think, have it on my pocket calendar in my bag. We too made it through the dentist with no cavities the last few times but with all the problems I had with my lower front teeth I don't want anything else dental that's for sure.
Yes, tree type pole light works great and was the most economical answer for both of us to read so glad it looks nice and works nice as well. I like that each light is individually controlled unlike my other one, much better.
I am happy with the light IT CC other than at my jaw line but going very lightly and not using much there works well for me. I don't really notice any more lines/wrinkles with this than any other product I have used other than a powder product, can't use that at all. I am also glad I will be able to get away with using just that one product in the summer without having to have another serum or moisturizer under it, less is much better come summer.
Janet, like Desi said, Coty's Vanilla Fields has been around a long time and is odd I have never tried it being I like both vanilla and jasmine so I should like this. I will post when I get it and try it. I do like PPS Vanilla Orchid so am hoping I like this too, should I guess. Ulta usually has almost anything you need, wide mouth sharpener etc. I can find almost anything in the store but if they are out of something I want I order it online, shame to pay for postage though since it is only 5 minutes away.

Desi -- Warmer and windy today -- felt like getting some cleaning done so vacuumed the rooms, washed but still have to dust. I know my windows need washing outside so have to find someone to do it.
Thank goodness my computer is working OK -- really had me in a tizzy about losing Windows XP but my neighbor reassured me that I can still use it as before; just won't have the updates.
The problem is if your sandals rub you may develop blisters -- I think they sell a type of roll on to prevent blisters if you decide to keep them.
doglover -- The gentleman who cleaned up your yard really did an excellent job and I don't think it was too pricey at all for hauling it away and all. It must really look nice and clean now. Nice that your DH gave him the spiral sliced ham since he's the only one who would eat it. Sounds like a really friendly man.
I'm going to try to get to Ulta for the sharpener -- you're right, no sense paying for postage when I'm about 10 min. away. Besides I need things at the Christmas Tree Shop and Trader Joes. TJMaxx, Home Goods and Blvd. Mall are a few miles before Ulta.
When I get to the mall, I'm going to try Vanilla Fields since I do like Vanilla and Jasmine. I do like PSS Vanilla Orchid which you recommended.
DD's cat must have been so happy to see Benson. They both sleep by the fireplace when it's cold. Most of the time the cat sleeps on a window seat over a radiator and at night he sleeps on the boiler in the basement. Of course, Benson sleeps next to DD in their upstairs bedroom; that's why he wanted to sleep next to me in our bedroom. DH said they know who feeds and cares for them.
Take care everyone and have a nice day!
We only had dogs when I was growing up; don't know why but my Mom was not fond of cats. When DH and I married he had a Black Lab (Kelly) who had 8 puppies -- so cute!

Hi guys! Eyes didn't change, yay! Have to return in 6 months, which is, again, the day after my next dental cleaning. AHH well, what can you do?
Doglover, glad they did a great job with the yard. Nice of you to give him the ham, they will enjoy it. Good luck next week with DH's appt.
Janet, you are right, they do sell all kinds of moleskin, etc. to pad straps. Not going to do it though. I think there is just too much downward pull on the straps or something. Maybe another style, same brand, will work better.
In a pinch, head down the school supply isle at CVS or Staples. They have sharpeners for all width pencils. Usually cheaper than the beauty ones, but the ELF sharpener is 1.00! I think Wet n Wild's is too.
I grew up with dogs too, my mom always said she hated cats. I eventually got her and my dad one when they had mice. Guess who wound up loving that cat to pieces? Then I got us one, and we already had a dog. That worked out.
