sorry but I find it shady when someone who has a product-regardless of what it is- sitting around for 6 months and then wants their money back. They know the return policy. period.

And for the crazy person calling me a WEN fanatic- that is hilarious since I use other things besides WEN and have not hid that fact. Of course when I call someone out for them wanting to return an item long past the return policy, people have to attack me and the only way they think they can do that is by calling me a wen fanatic, lol. Classic response from the peanut gallery. By all means, attack away. No skin off my nose.

your post doesn't really make sense. You've had the gallon for 6 months but never used it because you were worried since you've been using wen for years you' had more hair falling out but you bought the gallon anyway? Yet didn't use it nor did you return it in the allotted return timeframe? Sounds like you have buyers remorse, then you allowed the return time period to  pass for whatever reaso and now you want to capitilize on the lawsuit to get your money back. Kind of shady, no?

....It's disgusting.  Sadly a whole lot of people want to jump on the Show Me The Money bandwagon.

I have a stash of Wen, also.  I like to buy on specials and give as Christmas gifts to relatives.  However, since the latest news, I'm just going to bring it to the town "transfer station" a/k/a dump.  A lesson learned.

Wow. Kinda accusatory,no?  This post made perfect sense. I bet lots of people have gallons of this conditioner/shampoo from auto delivery who feel uneasy about using it now.  A poster asked a legitimate question and  you snarked the heck out of it.

I have no issue with people not wanting to use the product but, of course, you and others MISSED my point- my point is that the RETURN policy is past due and just because you don't want to use the product you bought six months ago, for whatever reason, it is past the return policy return date and sometimes, well, frankly, you just need to suck it up as a lesson learned for buying multiples or back ups.

This is another reason why I don't think people should keep a stash of things- if you decide you dont' want to use the product anymore for whatever reason, then you are stuck with a costly stash of product that you don't know what to do with. But you certainly should not expect a store to give you your money back six months later because you dont' want to use the product.

And THAT is my point.

OK, this is not about Wen but I bought a Northern Nights down blanket about 6 months ago for my Aunt for her birthday/Christmas ( because it was on sale and she's always wanted one like mine) She unexpectedly passed away on November 17. I called QVC to see if I could return it. It was brand new in the package. They were AMAZING and said yes and gave me a full refund. I just wish my Aunt was still here she would have loved it. I wish I would have given it to her when I bought it so she could have enjoyed it.

Re: Returning WEN

[ Edited ]

Does anyone remember the Prindables apples last year?  There were CDC warnings about apples that actually did not include Prindables, however, to be on the safe side, The Q was taking back all the apples and refunding all monies.  I thought that was wonderful customer service. Fast forward to WEN, there appears to be a media feeding frenzy.  I saw a program on the morning news and posed the question on the forums.  Within one day, BeBe had found an answer and responded.   The issue then would be what would the Qs obligation be with a "potential issue". Supposedly, this issue is with Gunthy Renker.  The Q was never mentioned. That in itself is very odd. Anyway, possibly a call to customer service is in order for the OP to ascertain what direction would be the best regardless of the return policy.

I love my Wen been using it for 15 years. I will never go back to that junk shampoo. If we listened to all these lawsuits we would not try anything. Tomorrow it will be something else.
