Boy, do I agree with this! But I have to "fight" in order not to get the length when I use mascara. All I want is volume. I don't use Latisse; the length is just there. I never draw the mascara brush through from root to tip, otherwise, I'd look like those models! But neither do I want brushes for lashes, like the falsies LR, et. al., uses. Honestly, who thinks either of those looks are attractive?!
Let me just add that the day of exaggerating makeup for TV is over due to high def! All the beauty vendors slap that makeup on, as though we're supposed to look like that out in public! What a joke!

I think the false lashes look ridiculous.

I've always thought some of the model's have lash extentions. That would explain the super-long lashes.

choose to buy a product or not, but I have an enormous issue with this post. Latisse is a prescription. There is NO ONE watching QVC that has any right to question or know what prescriptions any of these ladies uses or any professional care they may be under.
Please remember our place, people.

I always wish they would put the makeup on live during the show. The models have a full face of makeup and they just keep putting more on. How dumb do they think we are?

Short eyelashes is not a medical condition requiring correction. Recently I've been seeing mascara ads in magazines that actually state they have glued on enhancements before the mascara is applied. I don't know if this is voluntary or not. The entire beauty industry could stand a little truth in advertising.

Latisse does make lashes grow, that is the purpose of it!!!

I don't think the OP was being out of line.
It's quite obvious that some of those models are either using an Rx lash solution, an over the counter lash solution, or some type of lash enhancement.
QVC should remember THEIR place. There are actually people out there who will believe that the mascara being demo'd will make their lashes look like the model in the demo. I have noticed that some hosts are now saying "well of course (fill in the blank) has gorgeous lashes to begin with, but look how much better they look now."
To be honest there is one model whose lashes literaly touch her brows......and I think she looks ridiculous.....JMHO
