I don't think any of us were referring to Sheila or Brenda. I agree with you - these ladies seem to have "normal" lashes. However, the 2 other models (not sure of their names) are clearly using Latisse-like products - which make the mascara demos look unbecoming. They're beautiful girls, but I don't think using them for mascara demos does the vendor any favors.

I think Sheila uses a Latisse type product too...JMHO.

What.......exactly is this statement supposed to mean?

The rest of us are old?

Only 20-somethings have good lashes?

20-somethings want to have spider lashes?

Old people don't want nice lashes?

Nice lashes are only for 20-somethings?

If you are not a 20-something we can't buy makeup?

If you are 60-something, do not buy It Cosmetics mascara?

If you are 20-something you should have long eyelashes?

Actually, I don't understand why the vendors let this go on. I think it makes their products look terrible. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

But I guess the sales numbers are in favor of crazy, Cabaret- era Liza Minnelli, creepy spider lashes.

Ugh - it makes my eyes water to look at it, I always feel bad for the models having to smile and add more.

btw: I do like the It mascara for the main fact it doesn't clump.

Hi Croems....I didn't like this mascara. I got it in a mascara sampling kit I got here about year ago.

The one I DID love was Laura Geller's WOW Factor Mascara...I liked it so much I even wrote a review. http://www.qvc.com/Laura-Geller-WOW-Factor-All-in-One-Mascara.product.A330841.html?sc=A330841-SRCH&c...

They look like a cross between vintage Twiggy and a Clockwork Orange. I'm fine with people using Latisse (I use RapidLash), but there comes a point where it's just silly looking, and then they don't use a lash comb so it just looks like a freak show. The Mally and It demos are a complete turnoff to me.

Re: QVC....Please Use Models with Normal Eyelashes for Mascara Demo's

Andrea....I never said to use "normal" models.....I said "normal lashes". There is a difference.

There aren't many women (of any age) around that have those naturally long, long lashes.

And, I'm sorry...regardless if they use lash enhancers to achieve those long (mascara-less) lashes or were born with them......they still don't represent the average eyelash.

Giggle....I agree with everyone. QVC. Stop. Just stop. It's looks asinine. False eyelashes are much, much prettier than that. If this gal was rockin' the spidey lashes for clubbing.....and decided to go home w/ someone? Can you imagine the horror on that poor guy's face the next morning?!

you folks keep tossing around the word normal and frankly I'm confused as to what normal is in your eyes. You don't like the young girls with long lashes you don't like the young girls with no lashes and clearly you don't like the older women either because they use them too. It seems like a much ado about nothing!

Re: QVC....Please Use Models with Normal Eyelashes for Mascara Demo's

I agree, much ado about nothing. I think the vendors--whether it's Jamie or Mally--are simply trying to show what can be achieved with the mascara. It's up to you what look you want to get. One coat for a more natural look or many for the va-va-voom effect. My lashes are so straight, I couldn't get that spider look no matter how many coats I applied.

Re: QVC....Please Use Models with Normal Eyelashes for Mascara Demo's

I agree with the OP but would like to also know why they don't start with a makeup free face when applying their products. If any of these vendors on qvc do this; I personally have never seen it.

. HSN's Adrienne Arpel always starts with a clean face, even making over much older women. I don't think she sells stuff that is made in China either.
