I hate when they obviously use powder on the lashes to try to hide the color and length. Then ""Magically"" what ever the Mascara is makes them appear longer. A tremendous amount of vendors do this and QVC allows it. They cheat.

I agree...I want to see what normal lashes look like after applying the mascara's. The host just said she is wearing the It mascara and of course her lashes look fine...but normal.

btw: I do like the It mascara for the main fact it doesn't clump.

Yes, the Godzilla look is ugly. I don't know what those young women are thinking but it is not attractive to have the unnatural, long lashes and it is beyond me what the vendors are thinking selecting those women for their models. It's a freak show.

And not everyone has outrageous lashes like the blonde actually I don't think that's Rachel Rachel is the one with the astounding lips .On 6/21/2014 Andreatoo said: oh stop complaining! Sheila, the Asian model, her lashes are non-existent without mascara! Brenda's are barely there too. yes Rachel and Brooke have outrageously long lashes to start with but guess what? Twentysomethings buy makeup too!I don't think any of us were referring to Sheila or Brenda. I agree with you - these ladies seem to have "normal" lashes. However, the 2 other models (not sure of their names) are clearly using Latisse-like products - which make the mascara demos look unbecoming. They're beautiful girls, but I don't think using them for mascara demos does the vendor any favors.

Lol, what does age have to do with anything? I'm 32 - not that old, I hope. ![]()
I guess I didn't realize anyone was commenting on this in regards to age - but maybe I missed this side of the "debate". (Wouldn't be the first time - lol!)
I agree that Rachel is stunning, one of my favorites!!!

I just started using rapid lash and am hoping to get me some nice long lashes, just so I don't have to wear mascara. Mine are dark and curl, but short and rather thin.

Andreatoo ~ wow, you know the names of the models???!!! I don't watch QVC often enough to even know the names of all the hosts!
But I did watch the IT presentation last night and thought the model had eyelashes that were just bizarre. Freaky scary. That spider look will never convince me buy a mascara - just the opposite. I changed the channel.
