I loved the Purity Made Simple cleanser, but stopped using it when it started to be drying for my face.

So I decided to try the facial wipes for occasional cleansing.  Since the scent of the cleanser was one of the things I liked the most, I was very disappointed that the cleansing cloths smelled very different.

I know they have come out with other products in the line.  Don't know what their scents are.

I doubt I'll purchase the cleansing wipes again due to this.  Why not stay consistent?

Re: Purity Made Simple products

Purity Made Simple caused a bad breakout on my face.  I had to go to the dermatologist to get it treated.

I would like to see a discovery kit so I can try different products before buying the bigger sizes.  Yes, products should stay consistent so the consumer knows what to expect.

Re: Purity Made Simple products

From Beautypedia:  This cleanser is overloaded with irritating ingredients. The fact that it is listed as “Best of Sephora” merely means that lots of Sephora customers are using a cleanser that is hurting their skin. Fragrant oils are abundant in this cleanser, and all of them contain volatile components that are irritating to skin. Philosophy also included black pepper extract, just in case the fragrant oils weren’t irritating enough. Those of you who use this cleanser may not see the irritation it causes because most of the irritation is taking place under the skin, where collagen is being damaged and free-radical damage is being generated, but it is happening nonetheless. For the health of your skin and your beauty budget, please consider switching to a truly gentle water-soluble cleanser.

I’ve used PMS for years. It’s the only cleanser I can get near my eyes to remove makeup.  It doesn’t irritate my skin or eyes, never has.

If you can recommend a better, cheaper cleanser that can successfully take mascara off w/o burning, please share

remegetting Re: Purity Made Simple products

I remember getting a small travel size sample bottle of Purity.  Due to all the hype about it on QVC, I looked forward to trying it.  I thought it was awful.

I love Purity ~ its one cleanser I always gravitate back to ~ Seems sometimes in other skin care kits they give a cleanser ~ but there i something abut Purity ~ If i were to run out it is one I would purchase on its own~ I have never had any irritation porpblems ~ but I do not have sensitive skin either ~

@scatcat   Before I got into more advanced skincare products, I removed face and eye makeup w/ baby oil. No harm was done for at least 10 years...can’t beat the price. I do have dry skin, though.
