I feel it's only fair that Paula should admit to all the QVC customers that she has had cosmetic surgery. Her products alone have not made her skin as beautiful as it is. Oh my gosh...they ALL have had cosmetic surgery!  Why in the heck would she admit it?

I don't think that is the case.  I think it's one of her top-selling products so many would be interested in this TSV due to that.  Mine certainly won't last me 12 months.  I'm sure I"ll go through a bottle in 3 months or less.

I agree that it is NOT because she overproduced, lol.

But @winamac1 why do you think you will go through a bottle in 3 months or less?? I have been using her BHA for years and I use it every day and I use enough to cover my face, neck and chest and one bottle still lasts about 6 months. Always has in all these years. How would you go through a bottle in half that amount unless you use it twice a day (no need to do that, btw) and/or slather it on your whole body?

For those who aren't long-term PC product users, all one has to do is google her and you will find alot of her posts and radio show transcripts going back to 2011 (perhaps even the radio show recordings, not sure if they are still out there or not) and you can read or hear about her experience with procedures, etc. She didn't always do all the radio show interviews herself but the people who did do them talk about her as well.  She doesn't keep anything a secret, never has, she always has been forthright. Perhaps QVC doesn't want her talking about anything besides the skincare as they think it will sell more.

Here is one from 2013:

Because I use a similar size bottle of Clinique in 3 months.

First, how do you know what she uses currently? She may very well use some of her own retinol formulations, even if she had not previously been able to use other retinols on the market.

Second, there is a big difference between writing and talking about surgeries or procedures in interviews or blogs and discussing them on-air when selling products. I mean, should anyone , on-air or otherwise, who sells skincare to the public need to open their medical files for all to see?

The fact is, no surgery or procedure precludes the use of good skincare. And personally, I never infer that by using a topical, my skin will look the same as another's. All I hope for is seeing some improvement in my own skin.

If you were to go through the PC product in 3 months then you must bathe in it then because no one I know goes through it that fast. If you use too much it will be way too sticky on your face. Less is more with this particular product.

I've been following Paula for years and have seen dozens of her interviews. All these years, she has repeatedly talked about the products she uses and ones she cannot. She's very proud of all the retinol formulations she's created but has lamented how she still can't use them because her skin is so sensitive. And while she doesn't wear a moisturizer on her face (because she repeatedly speaks of her oily skin), she has always said she uses the Moisture Boost Treatment Cream as her eye cream. That is, until she created the RESIST Eye Cream.

@fresh-kitty, this is hearsay until you can cite a source.

But I'll say this regardless: I'm very pleased with most of the PC products I've used. They are irritant-, fragrance-, and cruelty-free and are, IMO, moderately priced -- somewhere between drugstore and high-end. I like her philosophy that doesn't buy into a lot of mumbo-jumbo myths but sticks to research.

So whether she does or doesn't use something that she said she does or now wears her eye cream instead of another of her products is, in the scheme of things, unimportant to me.

After all, even if she were "guilty" on all charges, it doesn't affect how her products perform; plus, who ever knows whether the people behind any brand are scrupulously and painfully forthcoming about their own product use and/o whether they've had a little help from the medical industry?

I totally agree, @suzyQ3. I couldn't care less what the people who own the brands I buy have done to their face, skin, whatever (most of the brands I use I don't even KNOW who created the products)- I ONLY care how the products work for me. When I first started using her products many years ago I didn't even know anything about her nor, at that time, did I know what she looked like. A derm I had at that time told me about her products and recommended them and that is why I decided to try them. Not because of what Paula herself looked like, lol!

I have no illusions as to what skincare can do/change for my skin nor do I think buy buying skincare that a celebrity or other person hawks for a line will give me the look of that person's skin. I am only interested in the ingredients in the products and their efficacy. Quality, effective ingredients are what I look for, as well as being cruelty free, non-irritating and, to a lesser degree, being reasonably price. And, fortunately for me, Paula's Choice products (along with a few other brands) fit that bill for me and have for over 10 years now.

I would be cutting off my own nose to spite my face if I stopped buying her products only because she chose to have plastic surgery in the past or made an eye product because her customers begged her for one even though she doesn't think they are necessary (and still says so). I certainly have absolutely no desire to go on that long, expensive, frustrating search for effective, gentle products that work wonderfully for my skin in order to replace my PC products. No thanks! lol!
