QVC honors all holiday returns that are postmarked on or before 31 January 2014. That has been their policy for as long as they've had extended holiday returns. And there have been a few times when I sent returns back on the 31st with no problems.
HSN can be stricter sometimes with return dates (in general) than QVC is but I had no problem with them either last year ...... I did get my return out before the very last day but I know they did not receive it prior to the 31st. Got my refund just fine.
I just wouldn't push a postmarked date beyond the 31st or you very well might not get your initial shipping fees back. It's not like they don't give us ample time to get holiday returns back.

My PO won't give me a receipt either. They grab my package and throw it in bins they have along the wall.
They are required to but may not do so unless you ask. But if you ask, the are REQUIRED TO by law! If they refuse, ask to speak to a manager right then and there.

I wrote the last post about returns. They still do not have my merchandise but they did credit 3 items back for me after several phone calls to customer service and the post office. The post office said that QVC is one of the worst companies for tracking returns. I have one other item that is still in Lancaster after 7 days. At least this one got there and the return was on easy pay. Of course they have suspended my account for non payment on the item. Lol. My mother would often say ""you can't win for losing."" How appropriate.

I shipped a return back priority mail and QVC says has not received. USPS website says delivery status not updated. It' s been 3 weeks so I put in a claim with USPS. It was a $90 ring and I'll get only $50 back because I didn't buy additional insurance but it is better than nothing. It probably got lost at QVC but since the mailman didn't scan the item I am out $40.

The QVC label I used on my last two returns (WEN FAS and the epilator) are very odd. The tracking is never updated except the initial pick up but I notice it gets sent from the USPS to UPS but it does not have a tracking number for the UPS portion of the "journey" so you can't track it past the movement within the USPS. And the QVC website tracking NEVER updates - I have to track it from the information I gleaned off the label (I always make copies of the labels before I use them so I have the information I need to track it). What is the point of giving us partial tracking? Am I missing something? But anyway, even though the tracking never really got updated, they did apparently receive my returns and I sent one back right before and the other right after Christmas, during the busiest times I am sure, and they were received.

When I've used their label, I drop it off at my UPS/USPS drop off center. THEY give me a receipt with all the info on it. Once, QVC claimed it was not received and would not refund my money and it was over $100 in cost. I told CS I had a receipt from where it was dropped off and I was placed on hold. The CS rep told me I would receive an update in 24 hours.
Sure enough, my email showed me a credit for the full amount. I NEVER gave them then the receipt number, name of the location where it was dropped off, nothing. Call me crazy.. I still wonder what happened on the QVC side.
Since then, I ALWAYS get proof of the drop-off. Always.

Then call the 1-888 number for the post office and file a complaint. It is the law that they provide you with a receipt, especially if you ask for one. Mine doesn't give you one unless you ask.

I checked the tracking info this morning again and finally, there's something there! It shows my package arrived at USPS on 1/04/14 and it was in transit as of yesterday. I am relieved and hope all these delays are just due to post holiday returns. I hope everyone else's tracking shows up as well.
