Re: Need help finding a blush...

@Jhincher Since you have a light golden undertone, I would suggest Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. Since its baked it will give your skin a more creamy finish. Also I think its has a nice peach natural glow. Its very pigmentated so a light hand when applying. Nars orgasm is also lovely but to me in comparison to Milani it shows a bit more pink & has a bit more glow. HTH

I have loved this blush (from a distance) for so long.  I really want to try it but I'm not sure I have the right coloring for it.  Brown hair (with a reddish tint), blue eyes, light (to light med skin tone).

I am about the same coloring as you and I love this blush. Try it in the mini size if you just want to test it. I also add the Dandelion "Twinkle" on top if I want more of a...well... twinkle. Very pretty together or alone. Both come in the mini size. My favorite for a natural pretty blush.

Ive been wearing Thrive Causemetics Triple Threat Color Stick in Isabella on my cheeks and lips. Very creamy, buildable, blendable with decent staying power.

Re: Need help finding a blush...

This forum sent me on a quest! My favorite go-to blushes are Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit, Tropic Hues and Peach Berry. I also wear Hourglass Electra. Before I discovered QVC lines my favorite was NARS O, like a lot of us. One day I was in a department store getting the (back then) limited Tom Ford for EstĂ©e Lauder summer line based on the Riviera. The girl in charge of the counter was walking around watching everyone.

She and I had a similar skin tone. I was buying the blush (stick) that went with the limited line. She asked me what I usually wore. I told her "O," which of course wasn't sold at her store. She told me she liked it too, but then told me to go to Sephora and check out Cargo's The Big Easy. I liked it better than O and wore it all of the time.

So after reading all of these posts I wondered if Cargo was still in existence. I hadn't seen it in any of the popular makeup stores. But it is! And TBE is still available!

I haven't ordered it yet, but it's good to know I can!  Smiley Happy

Thanks!  I didn't know they made a mini size.  I wish more companies would do this.  I think I'll just get the Dandelion and add my own "twinkle" where I want it.

I just made the switch to a creme blush. I bought one from Bobbi Brown and really like it. It goes on light and I can add more if needed. I have always used powder blush and decided my older skin might look better with a creme and it did.

@dsw503   I love BB Pot Rouge because you can also use them on your lips over a lip balm. I mix Pale Pink and Powder Pink toether...dip my brush into both and tap on the back of my hand.
