I have been using Skinn for the last few years, but notice lately that I am starting to get lines and wrinkles, sagging etc. part of this I am sure is my age 73 but I still feel that I might need a change in skin care, thru the years I have used Isomers, and Elysee and then the Skinn......I am now wondering if I should be using something like Dr. Denese or Paulas choice because of the retinal in it......what do you girls recommend would be good for an old gal like me.

I started using a couple Tula products that I think are amazing! I can't use all Tula but I now swear by the new deep wrinkle serum, mask, and neck cream. I use Josie maran face butter for my moisturizer. I think the new serum is what has really made the difference tho..love it. I've used lots of high end skin care but since staring the Tula my husband has even commented my wrinkles are disappearing ( he never notices my appearance so this is miraculous!!😄)

Hi @Hazelfaye,
I hear many people absolutely swear by Dr. Denese's Hyrdroshield. I use the Josie Maran oil & Honey Butter Balm, & just started using Paula's Choice 'Resist' with 10% AHA, a weekly retinol that I am using every few days to begin with, and like it quite alot so far. I have huge issues with exfoliating never seeming to ever be enough, but this is definitely helping & it makes sense that all the best creams & serums in the world won't be able to sink into our skin if we have layers of exfoliating that need to be done, first.
I also love Josie Maran's Exfoliating Powder, & think it is much better priced than the Tatcha Polishing Rice Enzyme Powder, although that is good, too.
I think our bodies go through certain aging cycles every set number of years. I can check the mirror every day & not see much change; then all of a sudden I start noticing several changes all at once in one week. That's always a fun week ![]()
I never was much one for wanting to be out in the hot sun, so luckily I don't have much sun damage, and that has helped me more than anything. Good luck in your search!

I think Paula's Choice is a fantastic line. I feel like it's underrated in part because the prices are more reasonable that many other more expensive brands, but I've always been happy with my PC products. She has a variety of retinol products to choose from, her exfoliators are fantastic, and I really love her Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer.

I did notice there was a skincare line called Tula but never watched the presentiation, I`ll look for the Video today, it seems like a number of you are using the argon oil, I might try that .......of course, there is still Dr Denese and Paula`s Choice to ponder......I think I might try one from each of those brands and see what works.........I do know that different peoples skin responds to a different products so its all very confusing

Skin care can only do so much. Lines can be softened but I don't believe one word when some vendor comes on and implies their product will remove lines. Sagging ...there are no products out there yet that will help sagging. Only a procedure or a complete face lift will help with that.
I do use Dr. Denese's serum. It softens any lines I have but does not eliminate them nor does it help with any sagging. It just gives me a clear, clean canvas for makeup.
I would rather see my bank balance keep growing than help to add to someone else's giving me false promises.
Aging is tough but think of the alternative.

I really don't feel it's necessary to spend a ton of $ on skin care. I think the really high priced ones are just making more money. I'm 67 and have used a lot of different products, and I think most of them just help to defer the aging process somewhat. A lot of my appearance success comes more from careful and artful application of good makeup!
I like Isomers and Serious Skin Care, and I have just started the Paula's Choice eye cream, and am seeing some encouraging results with that. I use a soft physical exfoliater mixed with my cleanser every night. I find that to be the most important part of my regime to keep my skin looking fresh
I use a lot of anti-aging products, but how can I say how much something is working.........I mean, how do I know what I'd look like if I hadn't been using them? People are still usually surprised at my age, but I think a lot of that has to do with the presentation, makeup, and attitude!

I have never used one "line" exclusively because not all products in any given line are superstars.
I think you need to re-evaluate each product one by one and be open to replacing only the pieces that you aren't happy with.

I've been using Paula's Choice products since 1995 and they are amazing. Guaranteed for 60 days, fragrance-free, color-free, no animal testing, no jar packaging. Sign up for her emails and you will receive specials such as free shipping, 15 or 20%, etc. Right now her exfoliants are 20% off.
