Nars Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation

I watched Michelle Wang do a GRWM last night.  She used this new Nars foundation.  Looked beautiful on her skin.  Just a tiny bit glowy. I'm going to give Nars one more try before writing off their foundations.  My first one was a bust.  Bought the color Deauville - L4 - light with neutral undertones

My foundation stash was getting low so I really wanted to try something new. I have tried so many and have some that are my definite favorites. I was in Kohl's the other day and the Sephora there had just gotten this in. In fact they were still setting up the display. I was matched with Santa Fe which is medium neutral undertones with a peach tone. I am normally a light medium with cool undertones in other foundations. I trusted the SA helping me and went with this shade. It is actually a beautiful shade on me and I love it. My skin is dry so I am always looking for a luminous look. BTW I have never had luck with NARS Foundations but this a winner.

That is good news.  Thanks for sharing.  I hope I chose the right shade.  My on-line success rate is 90% so we shall see.  What do you use under your foundation?  I'm going to use what I use with my other foundations and go from there.  I need loads of moisture/hydration.

@monicakm , I am very dry so I load up. I use a face spritz, then Josie's Argan Milk, a serum (currently using Skinn Radiance), Skinn Manuka Oil, Skinn Pep40. Right now my primer is Ilamsqua Beyond Veil Skin Glowing Gel. I switch off with my serums and primers. I get bored with the same one all of the time. I do use Argan Milk religiously though. To be honest this shade would not have been my pick if I had ordered online. I would have thought that it would have been too dark but it is a great match. Usually I do well purchasing online though. Hope that you found a good match.

Re: Nars Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation

@Tricolor and @monicakm - just watched Allie Glines use this and review it. After reading your posts and watching her video, am so tempted to try it.  Even though I love my L'Oreal Serum Foundation, I loved the way this looked on Allie - even though she is much younger than me.  Will go into a Sephora though to get matched.  I've never spent that much on a foundation so want to make sure to get the right match the first time.  Will let you know.

I just came back here to say that Allie Glines has a review on the Nars foundation (I haven't watched it yet) and Angelica Nyvist has one on Jaclyn's new foundation and concealer.  The foundation she liked (altho I didn't think it looked that good) but the concealer she HATED and couldn't understand how it even made it to production.  She wouldn't even finish the video with it on.
