My favorite nail polishes are by OPI because I think they have nice and wide nail polish brushes. So when I went through my nail polishes to toss out some old ones, I removed the polish brush and cap from the OPI bottle, cleaned it off with a kleenex and removed the brush and cap from a Sinful Colors nail polish bottle and replaced it with the OPI one. The OPI cap and brush will also fit the China Glaze nail polish bottles too as those brushes are too skinny and sparse so the polish is hard to put on nicely.

Essie has a new line of long-wear polishes coming out and they all have a wider brush. Here's a blog post with swatches of all the colors in the first release and some information about the brush: http://imabeautygeek.com/2016/05/01/essie-gel-couture-2016-swatches-and-review-all-the-shades/

@ChynnaBlue Thanks so much for the link.  I really prefer very light polish and some of the new colors are *perfect* for me.  Smiley Very Happy

I have about 80 bottles of OPI. I love the polish, both color and quality. But I actually have some trouble with the brushes. I have little nails, and the brush is often a little too wide for me. I'm glad that you love it and are able to repurpose!
