@Shanus : I always have so much trouble finding the right frames. I’ll think I’ve found one and when it comes back with the prescription and I can see the frame clearly, I’m always disappointed. But for some reason my prescription sunglasses frames are always great and people wind up complimenting them. I think I try way too hard to get the clear ones perfect and tend to be less stressed and more relaxed about the sunglasses ones.

So glad you found something that you’re happy with. I envy you🤓

@drizzellla   I wish you had tried to return them. I had a similar incident at a different store. I took them back within a week with a week because they were tight on my ears and they were not able to adjust them.

I nicely gave them the choice to refund my money or I’d deny the charge on my card. Unfortunately, they stood fast. The credit card company denied the charge, they lost out and also lost a customer.

I am impressed! Good for you! Yes, I wish I returned them.  I kept going back. I was determined for them not to hurt.  But I finally gave up. I think the arms are just so big, it is difficult to adjust.

I thiknk most if not all eye glasses/lenses places take in old glasses we can no longer use which is a fabulous thing to do. I've donated a number of pairs of my glasses to lens crafters which is where I go.

I've also rotated frames that I really like with new prescriptions in them. If I'm tired of them, donation.

The newer clear frames are so cute.  Just got a pair of sunglasses with brown lenses and a little tan on the top.  So over all the black.

@Shanus   I understand the problem.  I also have a small face, and there aren't a lot of options out there that fit.  I go to Costco when I need new glasses.  Not the best selection, but great prices.  And, since I wear contacts most of the time, I can wait a bit for a new pair.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 4, when there were no cute frames for kids.  As a result, I have an aversion to frames!   Prefer to see my face, rather than the glasses, so I alway opt for thinner metal frames, and never in black!  My current frames are purple.  I asked the optition for his opinion on a couple frames when I was buying these.  He said "Do you really want to wear purple frames?"  I decided that I did!  No regrets.  But, I'd be open to the colorless frames that you purchased.

That's wonderful!  Glasses are really like another piece of jewelry and it's so important to get just the right pair.  And when you do --- you feel and look great!  The frames you chose sound so nice.  And I like that this company does a good deed as well!

I agree so I always look for something fashionable. It definitely makes a difference in one's appearance.

@Sadiesadie   Since I’m not out in the sun often, my prescription sunglasses are mostly for driving or to wear when DH drives...not seen that much. I have Ray Ban small aviator’s (kid’s size).

Now really @ECBG . How can I do that without my face in there?
