 I've used philosophy miracle worker for years.  Keeps my skin soft and hydrated.

Skin Medica, find it on-line, Derm Store. I find it keeps me hydrated all day.

@Tworoses  You don't say what kind of skin you have.  I'm a couple of years older than you.  My skin is essentially normal.  In the morning, I like to use Mizon Power Lifting Emulsion.  At night, I use Skinn Deep Wrinkle Protocol Creme Reverse.  If needed, I have some Skinn Lipid Infusion Oil that I can add but I don't do that all the time.  If you have any moisturizers you're trying to use up, you might try adding some Lipid Infusion Oil to what you already have and that might do the trick for you.  It might also help for you to do some moisturizing masks a couple of times a week.

Re: Moisturizing

I use Epionce Intensive Nourishing Cream for my 57 year-old dry skin. No other moisturizer I've tried has kept my skin truly moisturized all day long. (Epionce Medical Barrier Cream is also amazing for extra dry or irritated patches on face or body.)

@Tworoses

It starts with soap, love Isomers because the chemist of the line is the vendor.

She has taught me so much (and alot of other skin care lines) about skin care.

Isomers has a set on evine called "Lets get Started"  It's a four piece set that may solve all of your problems.

I am also 55 with very dry skin.  I have been using Clinique Moisture Surge Intense for the last couple of months and I feel like my skin has never been so healthy.  In fact, a couple of people have remarked that my skin looks good, so I feel like it must be working.  It is kind of pricy and I feel like I'm going through it pretty quickly, so that's a downside.  But honestly, I feel like none of the drug store brands I tried worked, so I plan to just bite the bullet and use the more expensive product.  There are other things that I try to save on, but I think healthy looking skin is too important to skimp (within reason!).

Hope you find something that works for you!

Creme de La Mer.  The original.  Nothing works better.  Worth every dollar.

Dr. Perricone!   Pricey but use the night cream and then his moisturizer for day time.  Also, if living in cold weather climate - get one or two humidifiers.  With products available today, there's no reason for dry skin!
