Foundation is such a personal thing. There is the color to find, but also the formula and it's the combination of both that matters to each person. I found my HG foundation by getting color matched at the Bobbi Brown counter and the sales person explained the different color and undertones to me. When the brand expanded its line of colors and formulas, I had to get re-evaluated and I tried three different colors to find the right one for me. I have medium-tan complexision and I tan easily so I use different colors in the winter and summer months.
I don't quite understand how a brand has 6 or 7 shades in a full coverage foundation and they get away with saying there is a shade for everyone. Sheerer shades are more forgiving, but in my experience full coverage shades are not.
