@tototwo wrote:Maybe women are just on 'skin care overload' ? Seems like every week there's a new brand with a new gimmick and maybe some women are just tired of it. I can't watch a Lancer presentation - or any skin care presentation - any more. I got tired of the lies and misrepretations a long time ago. And, show of hands.... who really believes those "before" and "after" photos?
@tototwo I never see enough difference to induce me to purchase...even the tooth whitening photos are not that dramamtic. If a skincare product shows drastic results in the "afters", I'm even more skeptical.

I love Dr. Lancer's products, but I did not order this TSV because of the configuration! I do not need that huge of a size of the Polish, plus another smaller size of the Polish. They should have given you more of the Moisturizer instead and maybe people would have tried it, but to offer a huge size of The Polish, plus a smaller one was not a good idea in my opinion. His moisturizer is so expensive that a larger size of that to go with The Polish would have been better and probably sold more.
It's really too bad, because he has some really nice products!

Re: Lancer. The polish is physical and chemical exfoliation. The quartz crystals + chemical exfoliation is not needed that often.

Maybe women realized that they really don't need all the makeup and glop anymore. Most women probably threw away lots of makeup this past year because they didn't wear that much of it and just figured they would use the basics and be done with it.

@Meowingkitty A basic and effective skincare routine, to me, is a necessity. Makeup, on the other hand, is a personal decision. The better your skin looks, the less makeup is needed.

I have checked online reviews on some different places for reviews on Lancer since it is so costly. Many were not good! I cant afford to pay this kind of money unless every review is 5 star on every site lol.

I did....although I'm usually on team "less is more"...
Good quality few products that work are not easy to find in the world of skin care. This may be because expectations are too high....can you really "lift" skin with a cream. A few quality products that can be used for maintenance that keep your skin healthy is a goal. At some point only a gifted surgeon will make a significant difference. I choose to grow old gracefully.
I'm old school...my exercise, sleep, diet, and stress levels are things that I can control and are first line defense against aging. (Plus those that love me care more about the smile on my face/disposition than any skin care regime.) I will continue to look my best with a few products that I can incorporate into my lifestyle and work as best that can be expected.

Reminds me, I bought Dr Kaplans one minute facial on ebay for a great price a while back, and have never even used it, it looks great !!!

Peter Thomas Roth, Algenist and Perricone used to be Q "darlings". They're barely presented if ever...never a full hour show as before. It seems when somethng newer enters the market, the older favorites are left behind.

I use Lance products and they work for me. I was surprised with the super sized Polish and the smaller tubes of the other products. I purchased the last TSV on auto delivery and the tubes were equal in size. I also purchased a try me Lancer that just arrived and has two of the newer products. The small tubes work for the time between deliveries. I though they might just be promoting the Polish for everyone to work into their current skin care but QVC has had quite a few beauty TSV's in a short time span.
