While I use LaMer in some products, I also use products I purchase from a dermatologist and are Medical Grade.  I appreciate the curiosity of the posters about the products, however, I am stumped as to why the question is raised when there is no intention to purchase? Also, I have been watching these types of threads and it is always a curiosity that someone will invariably post about Paulas Choice not being a fan.  As if we did not already know this.  Sigh....It just seems to be a forum for a pitch for someone elses products.  Maybe not.  But it always seems to follow a similar script.

I agree. Totally.

@BellaCarro

I would break out.  I can't use those kind of oils!  Especially the cinnamals.

o/t but Dimitri of Skinn cosmetics always brags about, 'this cream has every ingredient in it, blah, blah, blah'. Well, just how does one know if there's enough of even one ingredient to do any good. Just not sure if it's good or bad.

Sad but true: many times these topics are posted as "shaming" threads, just another opportunity to bash anyone who uses or is interested in more expensive items.  It happens over and over with La Mer, Perricone, Wen, Kate Somerville etc etc etc.  Why are people so concerned about how others spend their money?

These product shaming threads get old fast and certainly arent going to change my mind if I wish to purchase (and do) CDLM< Perricone, Bobbi Brown.

Give it a rest!!!

I'm tired of it too.  It would be different if someone said, "I use product xxx and I can't afford it anymore, please suggest a lower cost alternative" but it seems that posters can't comment on anything pricey without lectures re cost.  It happens with shoes, handbags, cars, clothes, you name it.  Even kitchen equipment!  People were aghast at the price of the Le Creuset tsv.

I just got an email from LaMer about their new Renewal Oil which is $240 for 1 oz.  No ingredients listed except for their "miracle broth."  And if you don't want that, you can get their new Genaissance Serum for $620 for 1 oz.  The oil has 2 reviews, both excellent.  Anyone want to try them?  Not in my price range!!!

Thanks for sharing! What landed you on their email list? Tried to get a sample?

I do realize that your comment was meant to be insulting to me, but I'll answer you anyway.  No I was not trying to get a sample.  I purchase CDLM often because it is the moisturizer I use most of the time, especially in the winter.  Hence, I'm on their email list.  OK???

What's insulting is your original post. I have the oil, am using it and it's working out great. If you are such a CDLM devotee you should know the brand lists their ingredients only on the carton, never online. Am I supposed to be naive for enjoying the oil's benefits? Have you never seen people on here bash CDLM as 'glorified vaseline'? Live and let live, how about?
