My niece mentioned to me that whenever I sent her a “ package “ that contained an item of my clothing, she would enjoy the scent of my perfume ‘ Theorema ‘ that remained.

Since my makeup area is in my dressing closet, it was a good thing that I only used one perfume !

Unfortunately, I am afraid that a number of European perfumes will ultimately change as ingredients get exorbitant in price.

Strange, but there are some days I don’t even wear perfume.  I basically wear it for myself and enjoy the feeling...another level of “ dressing “.

@jlkz ~ Yes, pure ingredients are very expensive, and unfortunately many companies are taking the cheap route, but still gouging their customers with high prices for an inferior product.

I wear perfume daily...just enjoy smelling my favorite scents.  Each time I catch a whiff, it's like having a Calgon moment😌

@Oznell

My friend, a long time devotee of Shalimar recently complained that it no longer smelled like the Shakimar she knew....she found a hidden bottle that was old and did a sniff comparison.  It definitely had changed !

@jlkz@Oznell ~ It seems like they all have.  If you're lucky enough to have an old favorite in your stash, (I'm so envious), enjoy the "real" thing.

@jlkzand @AKgirl2, how dare they tamper with "Shalimar", and all the other classics we love and remember?!  I do think some have remained relatively untouched, but what a bummer to never know if you're getting "the real deal"....

@Oznell ~ Sorry to hear that about a classic such as Shalimar.  Gosh, I remember wearing it sparingly, (highschool), not because it was pricey but because it was so potent.  I could smell it on me the next morning!
