Jill Bauer is another host who says ""uuuummmmm"" a lot. She has been there 20 yrs. and by now should not say that.

I like Jamie but I noticed they never do a complete makeover on the models. They mostly have the products on their faces already and she just strokes a brush gently over their face telling us how the product works. I do like many of her products and Laura Geller products too.

As for her dresses ,I agree they are too tight. You can see her belly button through the fabric on most of them. She seems like a sweet person. I enjoy watching her presentations anyway.

The above photo is of Jamie when she was a contestant on the reality show Big Brother in 2000.

Beautiful then, beautiful now.

I agree that she goes very fast. I think it's due to being on so often and knowing her ""script"".

Jamie seems sweet but I just want to say this about her Celebration Foundation. I got it because of her demo with her extreme redness on her cheek and I'm very happy with it, however, the redness on my one cheek is a much smaller area and nowhere near as intense as hers and there is NO WAY it covers mine with one swishy swipe through it with the brush as she does on air. I have convinced myself she uses her own personal compact with something in there besides just the Celebration Foundation, something with heavier coverage. Just once I'd like to see her open a fresh one out of the box and do the demo. I could be 100% wrong but that's the way I see it after having watched her do that demo many times over thinking maybe I'm doing something wrong, but nope, I do it just like she does, but then I have to take the edge of the brush or my fingertip and go back into the foundation and do some dabbing on my red area and it still shows through a bit till I put on some rosy blush and then my redness for the most part isn't noticeable.

When she goes into her compact with the brush, she puts A LOT on the brush. You can tell because you can see the excess powder flying through the air.

"Umm" bothers me, too, no matter who says it. I love IT Cosmetics, and Jamie does seem like a nice person. I have no qualms with how she speaks or her appearance. The repetitive lines, as some have mentioned, can get annoying, however. Along with "je ne sais quoi," "drenches your lips in hydration," "no glitter or shimmer," and "lit from within" get used a lot, too.

It's not unique to Jamie, though. Maureen from Tarte talks about going to the Amazon, Mally has "gorgois," and Josie Maran has her French woman that told her about "arrrgan oil." That's how they sell their products. It can be annoying to those of us who are familiar with the lines/products, but interesting to those who aren't. Hearing some of that is what hooked many of us to begin with. As I said earlier, I love IT Cosmetics, so I'm always happy to see when Jamie is on!

Jamie mentioned in an article I read that the producers keep telling her to breathe. I don't think she's listening.

Watching Jamie, I always have the impression that she would make a good friend to have coffee with and talk about the beauty industry.Smile

Lately, she seems somewhat stressed when she presents. She was on the other day and the first thing I thought of is that I hope she ignores most of the posts and threads that are derogatory. These forums only represent a very small segment of the population who buy her products. On second thought, I hope she never reads the forums.
