I am new to IT Cosmetics and am thinking about the TSV.  I wear Fair in Laura Geller Balance n Brighten and Ivory in drustore products.  I am not sure if I should order the Fair or Light.  I am older and very pale with gray hair.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

If Porcelain in the LG product is too light for you, then FAIR in the TSV will be perfect.

Thank you - I am so pale my husband would ask me if I was feeling o.k.  I was worried light might look too orange, but fair may make me look too washed out.  I don't have any of the IT brushes, or makeup, so even if the foundatiion doesn't work out, the other products will still make it worthwhile. Thanks again.

@Gizmp I understand, lol. I am also very pale and sadly, the Fair is just a tad too dark for me. I've tried LG's B&B but the porcelain, though light enough, it too pink. Gads!!

I have tried the IT CC cream in the past and love their brushes.  I did notice, however, that when watching Jamie's presentation last night and she was applying the foundation and blush on Leah (a beautiful girl),  I didn't think she looked as nice in that as when she was wearing the foundation in Laura Geller's TSV 2 weeks ago.  Not that she didn't look good, and this is just my opinion, but it made me not tempted to get this IT TSV.

Re: IT cosmetic TSV

I did catch a glimpse of the models wearing this foundation, and I liked it quite well. Along with blush and lipstick.  So, I have placed an order to check this one out. But if the foundation is to try and see how it will work, the brushes, especially the angled blush brush to me is a great addition to this TSV. I have both, and would love to have a spare angled brush. It's the best for any blush application.

@Gizmp - Like @SahmIam, I agree the Light might be better for you. I, too, wear LG B&B in Fair. My DD is "Nicole Kidman" fair, and she's getting the Light. This product looks like it might run a little darker than other traditional foundations. I usually wear the second shade down from the lightest in any makeup line, and I'm getting the Medium in this - especially after getting advice from IT's Jacqueline on the TSV forum! I don't wear Medium in ANYTHING - except IT's first Celebration foundation! Smiley Happy

beach-mom, hubby was watching and I ordered the light after also on that same board and asked but when he saw 2 of the models in medium he said that's what you should get so, I ordered one of each.

I will keep both since I can mix them and I love that shade of blush and lipstick plus the 2 brushes BUT I will cancel AD on the one that isn't the best color for me.

I was going with light but he kept saying you need medium? I have light in other all but Mally defender bb which is light/medium.

@doglover3 - You did the best thing! I always worry that if I do need another shade it will be gone. After getting Jacqueline's advice I'm pretty confident in the Medium. I'm going to Ulta in a while to double check, but I've already ordered it. Let us know what you think when you get yours! Smiley Happy

that's the thing, worried if I ordered one shade and had to send it back for another shade they wouldn't have anymore so, went with both light and medium. I do plan on keeping both since the brushes alone are  well worth the price of this kit.

will post when I get and try this TSV and hope all the other ladies so the same, will be anxious to read all reviews on the whole kit.

what shade did Ulta suggest for you?

I watched the morning presentation and the Jaime look alike had her hair back and you could see the foundation and then her scalp. The color change was significant and not appealing. Reminded me of when woman put a ton of makeup on and then their neck is not touched. The art of blending.

Could someone explain who this other woman is? A friend, sister, cousin or just someone that works for Jaime.

I saw a dark haired girl present it at one time, no idea who she is. I do think a lot put way too much makeup on regardless what brand it is. I don't like to see where it stops and my jaw line and neck look different from my face.

I try and get as close a match as I can to my face and even then, I don't put a lot on so is why I wanted this being it said sheer. I am hoping it is exactly like the Mally I had and used up which looks exactly the same.
