I recently gave up LG's Balance & Brighten for the same reason. All of a sudden pores I didn't know I had showed up all over my face when I applied her foundation...even over a primer. I never thought I'd use liquid again, but I switched to Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation applied with their Optical Blurring brush and I couldn't be happier. The shade I chose matches my skin tone perfectly. I use it without primer, after my moisturizer has set in for a few minutes, and my skin looks flawless until I take it off (6-8 hours later) without setting powder or touch-ups of any kind. The best part is that it feels like I am wearing nothing at all.

I still use and love my mineral makeup, but I alternate now with Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation, it is super light and you look soo good in it.It is not full coverage though, but I don't need full coverage, but it gives your skin a luminosity that just looks very good, especially in my opinion for maturing skins. It is pricey but well worth it!!!!

Being able to have a pink undertone foundation made such a difference for me and concealer. She also offers 3 different primers -- hydrating, regular and oil free. I want a foundation that is good for my skin and makes it look more youthful. I have found this with LM. Check out her products they are worth every penny.
I agree with Kat,
I have large pores and oily skin,so need to be very careful with foundations. I actually love BE, as long as I use my Clinique Moisture Surge first, then either Laura Mercier Primer or Smash Box oil free primer, my BE goes on like a dream, and I top it off with a dusting of Ready MV. Now, if you want something else, like Kat said, you could try Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizers or foundation. I LOVE her Tinted Moisturizer- she has such a nice shade range, I think almost anyone can find a great match in this line. Feels like nothing on your skin but blurs imperfections beautifully. Take a look at it!
Best of luck!

Another vote for Naked Skin. I use the Naked Skin BB Cream too, and I love it.
