I feel liberated with not having to wear makeup these days. In fact I've been getting so use to it that I might not go back to my old ways of wearing makeup as much. My skin loves it and so does my wallet.Woman Happy

@SilleeMee , best thing I did for my skin was to not wear makeup on a daily basis.  I know some people poo poo that and say that skin doesn't "breathe", but it made a big difference for me.

@Icegoddess   Skincare w/ tinted moisturizer and spf on top is really not face makeup to me. If I do add blush, it's usually a cream. I always (even beore Covid) planned my out of the house days to do errands 2 days a week...minimum makeup then, too.

When dealing with makeup clients, I have to do the entire full face, but it quickly comes off after appointments.

Before the pandemic I would go through times - months and months sometimes - of not wearing any makeup.  I would do my skincare routine but not makeup.  Living alone I thought why wear it during the pandemic but then I decided why not!  So, went through my makeup and got rid of the really old stuff, replaced mascaras and other basics that were old and have been wearing it again.  I just do my eyes and brows and will wear lipstick even when home alone.  If I do go out on an errand and wear my mask, I don't wear lipstick.

Anyway, all this rambling and what I'm trying to say is, for me, wearing eye makeup right now has lifted my spirits and helped me feel a bit more like life is "normal."

@JudyL   Yes, same here. During these times, I try to do anything and everything within my control to feel somewhat normal.

@Shanus

Great idea about putting fragrance samples inside baggies. They say you should never go out and smell more than three different samples back to back on the same shopping trip. That makes the nose get overloaded, confused and then the fragrances become something that there not suppose to be in our brains.

@SilleeMee  I remember being in an upscale perfume shop and they had cups of coffee beans to clear your nose (?) between fragrances.

*** After I finish sampling the cards at home, they go in lingerie drawers, linen closets, inside my gym shoes, etc.

@Shanus, I stopped wearing makeup on a daily basis shortly before tinted moisturizers, BB Creams, and CC Creams became a thing.  You might be able to find a tinted moisturizer, but getting anything close to a match to my skin would be impossible.

I still wear makeup when I venture out; especially eye makeup! I would scare a bear without it.😁

Since COVID-19 came to town, I haven't been wearing makeup. I am a big makeup gal, I would never leave the house without my full face on. Now I feel, what's the point, most of my face is covered anyway. I have so much makeup just sitting around! I will say though, it takes me so much less time to get ready and out the door, I put on some moisturizer with SPF, and do my brows, that's it!

Same here @Jordan2 .  I haven't worn it since March.  I used to wear it for Zoom meetings, but not anymore.  I'm enjoying not wearing it, but at the same time, I don't feel "pretty" without it.
