Since COVID-19 came to town, I haven't been wearing makeup. I am a big makeup gal, I would never leave the house without my full face on. Now I feel, what's the point, most of my face is covered anyway. I have so much makeup just sitting around! I will say though, it takes me so much less time to get ready and out the door, I put on some moisturizer with SPF, and do my brows, that's it!

@Jordan2   I think many women are in the same boat. I've decided to up my makeup a bit when I run my errands just because I want to...no one cares, except me. Maybe instead of letting your makeup collect dust like mine was, add a step or two before going out.

***I added undereye concealer, a shadow stick or neutral toned shadow primer to lighten the lids...looks like shadow... and a swipe of mascara. Sometimes a brush of blush high on the cheeks (shows even with the mask) and makes me feel "done".

I feel liberated with not having to wear makeup these days. In fact I've been getting so use to it that I might not go back to my old ways of wearing makeup as much. My skin loves it and so does my wallet.Woman Happy

I guess there are people who wear makeup just for themselves and no one else.......I am one of those people. I really enjoy having a flawless complexion when I look in the mirror and light foundation achieves that look for me. I add a tiny bit of blush, mascara, eye liner and voila, I enjoy the results. All of this takes 5 minutes tops and it is well worth my efforts. An added benefit is my husband sees me at my best........

@SilleeMee   I've been a skincare fanatic being home so much, but still need some color and definition. My skincare costs way more than my personal makeup ever did.

Re: I Miss Makeup

@goldensrbest   If and when you do visit a store, label and spray those sample cards with the fragrance samples. I take a few baggies in my purse to keep them separated. Then I check them out at home.

My issue is candles. I love them and have them all over the house. I even burn a small lavendar one at the sink at night while washing for bed and light the citrus one for a "wake up" fragrance in the morning. No way to smell those before purchasing. If I don't want the same brands/frangrances I've purchased before, that's it. I'll just have to wait.

I still wear makeup when I venture out; especially eye makeup! I would scare a bear without it.😁

@SilleeMee , best thing I did for my skin was to not wear makeup on a daily basis.  I know some people poo poo that and say that skin doesn't "breathe", but it made a big difference for me.
