Hi! I have several, but don't use them all at once...how do you store your extra make up brushes? Need some great storage ideas in general for brushes, makeup, beauty supplies, bath/shower/hair products, etc.!! Thanks!

The larger ones are standing up in a pen holder on my vanity - the two smaller ones and my tweezers are standing up in a shot glass on my vanity. I have some products - like my large size spackle and my hair mousse and these brushes all on a pretty tray that can easily be moved to the side so I can open and close the window behind the vanity or to dust.
I also keep all products that are out on the counter in our bathroom on trays - one for everything for tooth care , toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash and another for everything else like deodorant, powders, sunscreen etc. My housekeeper asks that things be kept on trays as it makes it so much faster for her to clean. I like it because things seem less cluttered when they are sitting on a tray instead of scattered everywhere.

I have two round acrylic containers they go in. Many of the brushes I bought came in a case and I mix and match what goes back in that case based on use and travel. Brushes I don't use often can go in the case and live in a drawer. When I travel, most most used brushes go in the case.

I have a ton of brushes. Most of them stand up in a couple of Longaberger 1 pt. crocks, but I do have a set from IT that came with a stand, which I keep them in. A few that have a brush on each end, I keep laying flat in one of my MUJI drawers.

Believe it or not, I store my brushes in a bowl that is half filled with lentil beans! I have a couple of Caboodles for makeup and skin care, but was tired of paying high prices for storage. The beans are tiny and the perfect size to hold the brushes up without having too much resistance when you return them to the bowl. There is enough "give" so to speak that you don't have to fight with the brushes to get them back into the bowl. I thought about marbles and even pinto beans but there would have been too much resistance. The best part- when the bowl gets dirty and coated with hairspray, it's about $2.50 to buy more beans! HAHAHA!!

I did something similar to this. I took the remaining wax out of a burned candle and filled the glass about halfway with rice. It works great.
