I like the new forums! Think they're easy to manipulate and post. I think those who don't like them are either technically challenged or averse to any change.
I do wish, though, that posters wouldn't get "cute" with fonts and colors. That kind of thing is just distracting.

Still don't like the new forum. It gives me a headache to try and use it. I'm thinking I won't be here much

I don't like the new forum set up.
Went shopping at the mall today. Poor Q, lost out on my potential purchases.

Well, it's okay, but i do not post everyday like I used to. It is just too much work to get it to work.
The one thing that really bothers me to no end is ranking the posters. Not only is offensive and kind of hurtful, but it reminds me of being in the 8th grade. I have been posting since 2006. In 2007 the boards changed and some had to start over. So since 2007 I had just 18,000 posts and lost them. I have never been poofed, nor have I raked hosts over the coals or participated in conduct agaist rules. I think so anyway. So why are some valued, some super, some regular and so on. Our money and time is no good? Geesh.

I do realize it is a marketing ploy to get posters to become vested in the forums and act accordingly. But I am sure there is another way to do it.

Well, i didn't like the new forum last week and when i returned this week, I still don't like it.
Zita, i'm not technically challenged and neither is anyone else, specifically because they don't care for this format.
There are no subcategories so you have to go through all topics which I have no interest to.
Perhaps QVC wanted to reduce the amount of comments because if they did, this forum is perfect for this.
I actually wanted more sub categories and now there are none.
Not only am I coming to the forums less, my shopping has been reduced to almost nothing. I can't get the information that I want or am used to. I am fine with change but at least make the change beneficial.
No Forums is a Major Fail in my opinion....not that QVC seems to agree. I don't think the people making the decisions understand the forum otherwise this would never have been done. Good Night and Good Bye!

Why change something unless you can make it better?

There were some issues with editing pictures in the old forum.
Now that I've gotten used to it, I'm ok with the new forum. They have already tweaked it somewhat and improved it. I think it will get better!
This is a VERY informative place! I've learned a ton from you ladies and gentlemen and I hope that continues.

They must be using all that extra money they get from ripping people off on returns to pay the salary of the nitwits who designed this new forum.

Like anything else, it takes time to readjust. I'm really glad they brought back the sub-forums and even added new ones. That shows they're listening & are willing to make changes, if customers request it.
I hope they're working on migrating all the sub-forum posts from the recent & distant past and restoring the "Activity" list. I'm still feeling a little lost.
