Re: How do you like the new Forums?

For me, its pretty much the same as the former forums so I'm okay with it. The ONLY thing I have trouble with is finding subjects I posted in before. I've exhausted my limited ability to try to "find" them.............anyone please feel free to give me a hint here? I hate that I can't quote since I'm on an iPad. I have to copy and paste.

Someone explained this for me, and it has really helped. There is a way to "Float" the threads you're interested in to the top of the forum, so that your topics are always at the beginning of the list. After you post (or not, I suppose), scroll back to the beginning of the thread (or the top of the page you're on), and look for the red REPLY box on the left above the top message. Next to that are the words Topic Options, with a down arrow/triangle to click on. The second or third option should be Float this Topic to the Top. Click on that and this thread will always be at the beginning of the Beauty page so that you can see if there are new replies. When you don't need it any more, you can "un-float" it the same way. Hope that helps.

I would have posted this same info to kcladyz, but she hasn't read my three replies to her already in this thread on how to quote, and I quoted her to do it. What's up with that, lol?

Hate it, hate it, hate it. It is just not easy to read and keep up with, this way. It is boring, too.

Hate all of this, to be honest. It's cumbersome & just very difficult to navigate.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

I have been through many format changes here.

I have to say that this is the WORST!!!!!!!

I hate it.

You cannot even put up a decent title/topic.  It is so annoying.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

I am still hating it but mainly because there is no way to see all your posts like the old forum

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

I still don't like it so I don't come here that often.

Is there a way to see the most recent posts instead of clicking on the last page & working backwards?  Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of threads being deleted. Are they that offensive/or breaking community standards?

Funny thing.......I now can't remember what the "old one" looked like.    My one complaint is having to sign in all the time.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

If everyone was happy with the old forums, why change them.  Just add more topic choices but leave the format alone. Need to have something for all  their techies they've hired to do., I guess!  As for me, I find them confusing and rather unwieldy.
