@SeaMaiden ....  curly hair and fine hair are not mutually exclusive!  My mother and I are both proof of that!

@Grouchomarx   This is how I use hair oils....

It really depends on the length and the type of hair you have as to how may drops you need... curly hair needs more than fine hair... short hair less than long hair etc...

I have an update! Shampooed and conditioned with the goddess strength products. Applied one pump of the leave in cream and about 2-3 drops of the oil and evenly distributed to my hair (not the scalp). Left it to air dry and it looks pretty nice! Not greasy and not the usual frizzy either. Seems like a keeper. Thanks for all your input! Glad I gave it a second try.

I believe that Carol's hair products lean toward the African American woman primarily.  Afterall, she is a black woman so it makes sense that she would be thinking of the black woman first.  Especially when it comes to oiling your scalp which is not that common in Caucasian women.  I tried a couple of her products and they were very nice.

I have found that the best way to get oiliness out of your hair is the following . Apply hair conditioner and massage through hair . Rinse out . Shampoo your hair and then use hair conditioner again .I have had to use ointments and oil in my hair for my psoriasis and theis is what I do to get extra oil out of my hair.
