I recently moved to North Texas from the Pacific Northwest. Not used to the sun! I'm looking for a good sunscreen I can wear daily and think a spray would be quickest and easiest. I'm redhead therefore I burn and freckle so need good protection. I do not want one that is greasy but one that can be worn every day comfortably without even noticing it's there. Any suggestions?

On the cheap - Neutrogena is also good.

Neutrogena's Pure And Free Liquid SPF 50. It is a physical sunscreen and as light as can be...consistency is like water or milk. It will initially leave a slight white cast but it goes away. If you want to order on line, Paula's Choice Resist Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is great and slightly tinted!

I sound like a broken record, but it can not say enough good things about EltaMD sunscreens. They are easily available on Amazon.

I got some samples recently and I love this stuff. I was trying to figure out if it was physical. Thanks! I'm going to order some while it's on sale. OP I too have the same complexion and I have an oily t-zone and really like this, HTH.

I've been on the hunt for physical sunscreens and wondered about these two. The whitish cast made me curious! Can you put makeup over this? Does it leave a greasy mess?

I use alba Botanica (started using last year). It's not greasy, moisturizing and the white fades after you apply. I use the Hawaiian SPF 30 collection but recently purchased the very emollient & mineral facial SPF 20 which will arrive today. Very pleased with the performance. Last almost 3 hrs. before you need to reapply (80 min.).

I use Neutrogena sprays form the drugstore for my body because they make reapplication easy. For my face, I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Mopisturizer in SPF 30 (they also make a 15, so read the label) or Clarins UV Plus HP.

Banana Boat foam, the 50+ SPF baby formula. I like it because it applies easily and evenly without leaving that chalky appearance, and doesn't have much of a fragrance.
