Re: Facial seborrheic dermatitis

PErhaps a visit to a dermatologist is in order rather than self diagnosing?

Re: Facial seborrheic dermatitis

Jojoba oil supposedly has antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties., just an FYI.

Seborrheic dermatitis is also called cradle cap in babies, for those that have never heard of it.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

Re: Facial seborrheic dermatitis

I second that you should see a dermatologist.  I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and prescribed 2 creams for my face and a mousse for my hair.  He also advised that stress, fatigue and illness can trigger it.  There is no cure, but the antifungal and cortisone creams help.  I only use the creams when I have a flare up, which is rare now days and usually goes away within a day of using the medication.  I was having major flaking and peeling around my nose, behind my ears and along my hairline when it was at its worst.  A proper diagnosis and treatment plan will hopefully resolve your issues quickly.  Best of luck.
