Laura Gellar eye palettes

Trying to decide between 2 palettes .A285937 Island Escape or A286009 20 Shades Of Celebration. (or not at all) both have reviews with Broken product. Sometimes her eye shadows have nice payoff sometimes they seem to be varnished and don't load. Does anyone have experience with one or both of these?

I ordered the 20 shades of celebration on Friday. Yesterday i decided to cancel because of the reports of broken colors, but they said I was too late despite it saying that it was in process. I was told it was too far into the process. That was a new one on me. Anyway if it is broken it is going back and they better not try to charge me for the return! And or by the way i like it better than the other one you are looking at. And it is still In Process!

I posted this on the QVC Facebook site because I was so tempted. Many responded back saying that the colors were beautiful but a few people had an issue with the palette being smashed. I ordered and then canceled. The colors look so beautiful. Still debating if I should order it again.

I ordered 2 of the 20 shades eye shadows. One for my daughter in law and one for myself. Both arrived just fine . The colors are beautiful. My daughter in law loves it , says it has great color payoff and is her favorite set.

I have both. Haven't used the newest 20 color palette yet, but they look beautiful and all of mine were intact. The Island palette has gorgeous colors and I've been using it quite a bit lately. Wonderful for the spring and summer. Other than a few Colour Pop eyeshadows I have, Laura's eyeshadows are all I use (dry and wet) as I haven't found anything better. I use them wet for my eyeliner colors.

I ordered the 20 shades, did not have any broken shadows. Really like the palette (I've been using it wet mostly), love the coppery and burgundy columns in the palette. I use a primer, colors stay nice and vibrant all day. Great palette.
