The SA maybe just didn't look very well, tooSometimes I get one that will really go out of their way, and other times, they just halfway look and that's that. I also think sometimes the computer system is just wrong!
I really hope you can find and try it, and get your perfect shade!
So, here's an update on my quest for the Cover FX drops: I took an early lunch today and popped into Sephora at Columbus Circle. Lo and behold, the drops were there! I swatched two shades on my arm and then on my neck - neither a perfect match. I would have to blend the two, which I usually have to do with any foundation. I tracked down a SA to get some samples and by the time we returned to the display, one of the colors I needed was missing
. The SA tried (with little effort) to locate the missing bottle and then told me that she could not provide a sample bc there was not much stock of that item so she did not want to open a new bottle. I ended up getting a sample of only the darker shade and purchasing the CC cream time release tinted treatment. As soon as I got back to work I got to mixing and with the right amount of each product, I made a perfect match to my complexion. The finish is a little more matte than prefer, but I suspect a little bit of illuminizer will fix that.
To make a long story shorter, the verdict is still out for me on this one. I will have to do a bit more experimenting. I will note however, that my makeup is looking pretty flawless right now, even if it's not the dewy look that I adore so much. I also ended up purchasing an Hourglass Ambient lighting powder and Josie Maran tanning oil. I have a few items sitting in my cart as well...UD setting spray, Too Faced Book of Bronzers, and yet another Becca shimmering perfecter. The Josie Maran illuminizing wand and illuminizing veil both looked pretty nice also when I swatched them. Sigh...I'm in BIG trouble.

Serena, Josie is having a 22% off sale for Earth day. That is a better discount than Sephora's rouge. Just and FYI! ![]()

Oh, thanks! I think I saw that posted on the forum somewhere, but sometimes things don't click unless it's slapping me in the face
. Lol.

I think I am going to order P20 and P30 and combine with an illuminating product. That way I can get more of a dewy look in the right shade. I often wear illuminating primers alone so this will just help perfect them.
I did read that if you are planning to mix primarily with a moisturizer then it can sometimes work better to use one shade darker in the drops - with a moisturizer often being so white and using a higher ratio of moisturizer to the drops, it can help attain a better match.
I was thinking this might also be true when using a physical sunscreen with a high zinc oxide percentage. I just bought one with a 20% zinc oxide and the P30 just might work better with that. Guess there is no way to really tell until I test it out.
CoverFX sounds like they have hit it out of the park with this concept. Between the excellent reviews and PC's positive review, that's a lot of positive endorsements.
I did read one review on Sephora's site over the weekend that showed a one star yet that reviewer couldn't stop raving about how great these drop were. I see that every once in awhile and just have to wonder, how hard it is to check the appropriate star?

Josie is also still on Hautelook until tomorrow morning at 8 AM PST and they do show her illuminating lotion there for almost 50% off.

I'd love to try but I'm having the hardest time picking a color. I went to Sephora today but just my luck, must of the colors didn't have testers available and they would open a new bottle, oh well. The SA thinks the reason they don't have the testers is because apparently Cover FX is changing the bottle (or at least the way it is dispensed). The current bottle is too messy (a lot of the products ends up around the top of the bottle opening). I may just wait for the new bottle since I can't decide on a color and have no way to test them out anyway (no testers). I'll continue to follow this thread to see what others are experiencing with this new product.

Hi Ladies, just came back to report that I am loving it. I ran back over to Sephora today and purchased the full size product. I mixed two drops (from my sample) this morning with my Cover FX cc cream, Becca liquid shimmering perfecter and one drop of argan oil and it still looks great. Have not had to touch up my makeup all day even though it is incredibly hot in my office today and I am sweating just sitting here. Had to put my hair up in a bun, my bangs went a little flat, but the makeup still looks good. I was using IT cosmetics CC cream before this (which I absolutely loved) and I have to say, I will probably not be returning to it.
Also, i like that I can control the finish (matte or dewy) depending on what products I mix it with. That's a huge bonus.
