A transformed guest bath.
Oh -- just noticed this early photo is also missing the brushed nickel pulls. We got rid of the giant mirrors in the bathrooms that covered the walls from sink to ceiling. Hard to keep clean. Hated crawling up on the counter to wipe them so bid them a fond adieu.
These mirrors are illuminated. Tap that little square in the corner and they light up. The protective triangles on the corners have since been removed.
ETA: The missing chair rails...

The transformed master bath. We used to have a garden tub that took up the entire space under the windows.
We do have pulls on the cabinets (not shown on this early photo), but I noticed they forgot to put them on the laundry room cabinets.

The question now is: How in H_ll do we keep this place clean? It took us two days to clean that rental from top to bottom and that house was half the size of this one.
I never wanted stainless steel sinks or appliances. Every time I turn on the water I have to wipe up each drop. It's like having a second job.
And the floors...
Carpet hid so much.
Not complaining, just overwhelmed.

House looks great, @just bee ! I know it's been a long haul to get there and I'm very happy for you!
Edited for typos. Why can I never see them until after I hit post🙄😣. I'm blaming my 40's eyes.

Thanks! It sure is different from what it was 25 years ago. And from what it was just under a year ago. But it's funny: The dog knows he's home. ![]()

Regarding no carpet to hide anything, have you considered getting a robot vacuum, @just bee ? I also have all hard floors now and have thought about getting one myself, but I hear you still have to do the detail work, such as next to the baseboards. Since I am all or nothing (and I'm not claiming that's a good thing 😬) I haven't caved yet.
But you you are correct, hard floors hide nothing.

A Roomba? We talked about it but when we started researching them we saw too many stories about them igniting and causing fires.
I didn't know they were made by Ford...
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)
