It's that time!  That time when I'm wondering if I have enough candy for tonight.

 

I have 90 full-size treats.  I think I had 150 last year and that was way too much.

 

Better-half says 90 is enough.  When you run out, turn off the lights.  You're done.

 

No scary stuff or theatrics tonight.  I'm going to be watching the World Series.

 

Of course, if I'm screaming "GET YOUR TONGUE BACK IN YOUR MOUTH!!!," the kids might not ring the doorbell.

Kids started showing up then Better-half, who does not support holidays, started pouting. 

 

No scary music?  No strobe light?

 

Then he pulls out a Halloween CD I never knew we had.

 

This one's better than the other one.

 

Now that we have the scary music and the strobe light, the doorbell isn't ringing.

 

Oh, wait -- there it goes.
