Re: ComPact 2017 – Doable December!

One thing I know is that ever since I signed up with ebates, I have gotten a load of junk mail.  Coincidence?  Do you think they sell the email address?  Cant stand it.

Re: ComPact 2017 – Doable December!

Purchased IT holiday pallet today. For the second time allergic reaction to Tarte eyeshadow and lights camera lashes. Tarte now is hit or miss since being sold. Do understand my makeup collection is very small to the point haha one smashbox contour and bronzer pallete. Did purchase IT superhero mascara like the ingredients.

It's probably why I've stuck with Maybelline's Full 'N Soft washable mascara.  No irritation and my lashes don't end up on my cheeks.

I think the theme for 2018 will be minimalism.  I can't believe I've been walking around without makeup for over a month.  I just started using a tiny bit of liner and mascara.  I'm liking the whole less-is-more thing.

When I go back to CC cream I'll be using less.

Re: ComPact 2017 – Doable December!

Talk about a sign of the times.

Better-half and I have been talking about the film on our windows (I think it's from his vaping); we went out today to buy a Sunday newspaper so we could be prepared when we get around to washing our windows.

I can't remember the last time I bought a Sunday paper.  I used to have it delivered and sometimes it would actually show up.

How much is a paper in your town?

Two bucks for ours.  More than half of it was ads.  I could not believe the size of Parade.  It shrunk.

The largest part of the paper?  Five pages of obits.  Those were probably the people that still buy the paper.

Agree with you...less is more. Like the compact size of IT pallet.

That's what I like about e.l.f. items.  A smaller amount of product (and smaller price) so it is just enough to try out and/or actually use up.

I get a little queasy when the ladies post about their cosmetic collections and they're still using items from the Ford administration.

I don't want to marry this stuff.  I wonder if the industry will produce smaller packaging and lower prices.

Nah.

Re: ComPact 2017 – Doable December!

All I know, Ladies, is that HEP now has to be my priority.  I have gone off the rails and Christmas is still two weeks away.  Not good.  Every day is a start tomorrow kind of day, but that isnt working. I suppose it should be "start right now."  I bought flavored tea to stave off some cravings, I think I reached for it once.  Oy vey, this will be hard.  So today hasnt been great, but I can still save it if I go light for dinner.   I have run out of excuses.  Woman Sad

So, I wont declare anything as I have declared it before and failed, I just have to put things in action.

I even bought an electric tea kettle.  I didnt really need a tea kettle but I never bother to boil water for tea, not because it is hard, but because I forget I have water boiling. Smiley Happy I have had some close calls. I am easily distracted.  So, I guess I did need a tea kettle.

I am still amazed what I saw on the scale this morning.  I dont normally weigh myself but I just had to today because I kind of knew I have been crazy so I was curious. Plus, if i am going to lose some, I like to know where I am starting even though I dont care about the number on the scale so much.

Anyhoo, here we go.....

Nah.

I dont think so either.  And if they do go smaller, I doubt the prices will be much of a difference.  I almost bought an Urban Decay palette from Ulta's black friday.  The only reason I considered besides liking the colors, is the pan sizes were smaller.  I didnt get it, I wasnt home nor was I going to worry about it on Thanksgiving, but at least that would of been used up more easily.

For the record, I havent bought an eyeshadow palette yet.  Yay, me. Temptation is great though.
