All day yesterday, I was applying Burt's Bees....today, lips are smooth and back to normal.

Beeswax lip balm. It's great stuff.  I'm going to have to try some of the other products of theirs.  

You ever tried this for chapped lips, or what do you use?

I don't use Burt's Bees anymore since I found out they are owned by the Clorox company and are big animal testers.  But Beekman Brothers make great lip salves.

I find it doesn’t really matter what you use, just keep your lips covered with anything all day, chapstick, Vaseline, lip sticks etc...

I can't use Burts Bees because they contain lanolin, and I'm allergic. I've been using EOS.

Can’t be just anything....many products have

ingredients which actual CAUSE dryness of the lips.

Chapstick, Carmex...just a couple famous for being the ‘fix-it’ of

chapped lips, but they have camphor, phenol and/or menthol...

which drys out the lips, but yet people continue to buy.

The best thing I've used for dry lips is Lansinoh.  It's ususally used by breastfeeding moms for cracked nipples.  I put it on at night and still have softness in the morning.  If you have a sensitity to wool, don't use it.  Cerave Healing Ointment is my other "go to".
