Deal Alerts! Ladies stop paying QVC's outrageous shipping on cosmetics. Try Beauty.com or Ulta for same or better prices with NO SHIPPING. Even Laura Gellers own site offers free ship over $50, and the prices are in line with QVC. Ulta has a great deal on a Laura Geller kit for $39 that includes a full size of the balance/brighten foundation. After looking around, I found I can get the same products for much less elsewhere. (Not just cosmetics either) Happy shopping!

I would have to agree. The only cosmetics I order from the Q are exclusive sets or an occasional TSV that offers a better price. I can usually get a much better deal on Sephora.

many of the cosmetics Q carries you can find at Nordstrom with free shipping and returns for the same price Q charges....check out bradsdeals.com and you would be surprised how much you can save

This has pretty much always been the case - the only time I ever buy beauty here are pretty much when things are offered in special sets that you can't get elsewhere. I use perricone and typically the deals are better here although not always.

Yes, you are right becca914. I usually am fair, but ordered the medium for summer. I don't see a huge difference in the colors.

yes unless there is special set or I want to do easy pay it is better to shop from other online stores or in person bricks and mortar. The color representations on the Q web page are way off for some brands too -so you don't know what you are getting.
Of course sometimes the Q has great sales - just like everyone else

I have never purchased beauty items from QVC (unless I can't locate the item elsewhere; The olive Oil Scrub by Philosophy, etc.,). I purchase everything from Sephora or from the Dept Store. QVC's prices are NOT any better on a single item and the shipping is crazy! There are no deals here (with the exception of "kits", which aren't a deal for me because I seldom want everything in them).

I guess even with QVC's outdated shipping prices they are still able to sell a lot of beauty products. Before the internet, when it was just on TV, they could charge these fees, because you had to watch and buy, mostly one product at a time. There are very few websites that charge these ridiculous prices now.
Another good option is to sign up on your favorite brands websites. They all send special deals regularly like 15-20% off. Instead of all they easy pay, I wish QVC would offer actual discounts.
