I did try it and like it very much.  I tried it for one day, at home, because I did not dare go out with the color I had chosen.  I called QVC to find find out about exchanging the kit for another color.  It turns out not only do I need to pay for shipping and handling, which I already new of, but also I am losing the special offer from 56.94 to $69. Therefore, my easy pay is also going up.  I think this is totally unappropriate for a successful company like QVC to take advantage of their customers this way.  They seem to forget that we, the CUSTOMERS, are the reason for their success.

I DO HOPE QVC READS THIS.

I have NEVER had to pay for shipping when I've exchanged a product.  AND I get the same price.  Talk to someone else and email them.

@Tifboo that's not how an exchange works on QVC.  Maybe you and the CS agent misunderstood each other.  I'd call again or post this in the Customer Care section on these forums.

You should call BE CS or better yet visit a B&M store to find out which shade you need.  This way you can exchange for the right one.  Good luck!

Re: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

I just picked this up over the weekend since I ran out of my current foundation. I was kind of in a hurry and looking for a lighter foundation for the upcoming Summer months and I spotted this at Sephora in the trial-size section. They only had two shades in it so I picked it up in the Vanilla. I'm a light skin tone with more of a yellow base, however, the Vanilla I believe is considered neutral but it still works for me. I've only used it twice since I picked it over the weekend but I like it so far. It's a tinted moisturizer with a light to medium coverage (not a heavy look or feel to this coverage at all) which I think will work for the Summer. It also gives a slight glowy/dewy finish to your face which I like. I would not use any kind of primer or moisturizer under it since you don't need it. I would also put a finishing powder over it or what I did was lightly dust some bronzer over it. I did have to put extra concealer under my eyes though but it blended in well. I only picked it up in the trial size which was only $20 so I'll see how it holds up when I wear it in the really warm/humid weather. .

Re: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

@LeoGrl this was just in a TSV a couple weeks ago.  I know the price is higher now but with the AD you can make sure you get it.  You can also get the color you want.  I know QVC honors prices for 30 days and I have been able to get a ODO I missed for the same price.  I don't know if they do that for TSV prices but sure wouldn't hurt to call.

I have not tried it yet, but want to try it. I've read a lot of the reviews and I think it will work for me. I am 65, have dry skin & can get away with wearing a light coverage CC cream or tinted moisturizer.  I'm trying not to spend a lot right now on extras as we are remodeling our patio, so I think I'm going to look for a tube of this solo on Ebay or Amazon.

I'm in my early 60's and I LOVE the BM complexion rescue..won't be w/o it!!!! It keeps my skin moist all day..I've even gotten compliments on my skin! Hope you give it a try...!

Re: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

CR is my favorite foundation now.  I can use Tizo sunscreen under it and because it acts like a tinted primer, it gives me more coverage if I want it.

I like the CR Mineral Veil over it. I think it fills in the right amount of color for more coverage.

I did not get the TSV kit as they didn't have my color.  I went to the boutique and got color tested and they gave me Birch which is a perfect match for me.

The boutique also suggested Bare Pro over it, but I don't care for that combination.  I think the Bare Pro is too drying, but it is matte, so it tones down the shine.
