@Q4u I agree with your comments that it is the problem (or change in regulations) throughout the perfume industry. I have read Chanel No. 5 is changed and I think on this forum someone recently was saying that Bobbi Brown's Beach and her other fragrances have changed too. I feel Philosophy has changed since the company was sold. I still buy my favorites though and their shower gels. I won't even attempt to buy Tova Signature and I wore that for years.

The original Grace fragrances gave me a terrible headache because of the musk they used. They've changed the forumla and now I don't get a headache, so I prefer the new ones.
They sell Amazing Grace at most department stores, Ulta stores, and Sephora stores. I recommend trying some the next time you're around any of those stores or having a friend pick up a sample from Nordstrom and trying it yourself.
If you find you don't like the reformulated version, I recommend checking out fragrances by Sarah Horowitz. Her Perfect Veil smells amazing, but I can't get near it because agter 5 minutes, it gives me the same horrible headache that the old Grace fragrances did. It's less floral than Amazing Grace and maybe more like Pure Grace.
QVC sells Perfect Veil here: http://www.qvc.com/Sarah-Horowitz-Perfect-Veil-Eau-de-Parfum-%26-Rollerball-Duo.product.A285403.html...
You can do a web search for more of her fragrances sold elsewhere.

I absolutely love Amazing Grace and Summer Grace....they are so soft and are about the only fragrances I can wear that don't give me a headache.

I love Amazing Grace and Pure Grace. I received both as some Christmas gifts this year, and I cannot tell a difference between now and what the fragrance was 5 years ago. Maybe there is but I just cannot tell.
I also just discovered Ballet Rose - LOVE. I bought the shower gel but need to get the body spritz and fragrance. Has anyone tried Ballet Rose?

My last Philosophy set was two or three years ago and it was Falling In Love (after the sale to Coty... and I have used these products prior to the sale). The bath gel was great all the way to the last drop. The perfume scent was essentially gone by the time I got the the car to leave the house in the morning (according to DH) and I layered. The body cream was good until half way through the jar (and I used it every morning) then one morning I opened the jar and ..... nothing. Absolutely no scent. I screwed down the lid and left it for a couple of days..... nothing. It was like a jar of lard. No scent whatsoever after about a month's use. I have never bought another Philosophy product.....

I was out of town visiting with extended family last week and everyone was commenting on how good I smelled.
My niece works in retail and she said that sometimes customers come to the store and they are wearing AG and it makes her think of me.
AG still works for me.

I bought the small $25 Amzaing Grace bottle at Christmas. Love it too. I no longer can afford to buy pricey colognes. My last was JLo's Glow, hard to find anyway. Recently, I found a small but pretty bottle of Taylor Swift's (No fan here) Wonderstruck Enchanted for $5 at TJMaxx. It smells nice. I like to treasure hunt for colognes now.

I'm very disappointed in PHilosophy's bath and shower gel. When they give their demonstrations on tv you always see these very luxurious bubbles. You have to use a huge amount to get a lot of bubbles at home. I have purchased from Bulk Apothacary their Amazing Grace oil and their shower gel base. Made my own Amazing Grace shower gel that has bubbles that last throughout my soak. I also use the oil in my steam diffuser at home to spread the wonderful smell throughout the house.

I couldn't find the post where we were all complaining about the smell retaining their 'smell'....it doesn't.
Anyway, just yesterday I went into a bank I don't usually use and the teller said, "You smell so good. What is that smell".
Of course it was Amazing Grace. Here's my comment on that. I guess he could smell it because these days I have to just about bathe in the stuff to have the smell stay (even then it STILL doesn't last).
It's so frustrating when a company has something that's so good and so many people love it, they have to dilute it so it doesn't last.
I think they cut it with alcohol. Lately it's been smelling more like alcohol to me than Amazing Grace.
I remember when I wore Channel No 5 my late husband used to love it, I could go back to it after a year and it STILL DID NOT smell like alcohol.
This stuff is smelling more like alcohol than ever. Sorry, just had to vent since we'd just been discussing it here.

Amazing Grace is not the same as it was. You barely smell it in the shower and it does not last for more than 10-15 minutes. I won't buy it until they change it to the old formula
