Oh de London!!!  I want to cry when I see this bottle!!!  I loved this so, so much!!!  I begged and begged for it.  I tried to buy a knock off of this perfume a couple of years ago and it claimed to be just like it.  It wasn't!!!

World of Beauty Club!!!!!!!  OMG!  I forgot about this.  My mother got this for a time and my sister and I thought it was like the greatest thing ever.  We couldn't wait when the mail came and we would sit and watch as mom went through it and occasionally she would give us something she didn't want!!!!

to just bee:

British Sterling is still availabe, not a dupe. I saw it at a Store called wilson's in Greenfield Ma.

there were soaps, aftershave, cologneactually Wilson's is a blast from the past. It is a very large 4 story department store that looks like it is still in the 1980's. very elderly clientele,

there are 2 makeup counters, Estee lauder and /Clinique

big Alfred Dunner crowd.

Sounds like my kind of place!  I didn't think they discontinued British Sterling -- I'm pretty sure it will be available in a set at Walgreens this year.  Now I'm curious and might have to go check it out...

I still have the bottle of Shalimar that my father (b. 1906) gave my mother (b. 1923).  It's old!

Re: 70's and 80's Beauty trip down memory lane

Someone mentioned Ralph Lauren's Lauren perfume which I liked also, but does anyone else remember his Tuxedo perfume? It came in a black bottle. I liked that one a lot back in the 80's.
