I will never get over the discontinuation of that shampoo! It reminds me of one of my best friends in junior high school. I can still remember the smell. I've searched the Internet for it and can't find it.
I remember the Love's lemon fragrance and still have a nearly empty tube of their cheek tint that I can't throw away.
A friend of mine who was the big glamour girl used to wear those Clinique lip glosses in the little pots. She had long dark-brown hair and big blue eyes, and the girls were all HIDEOUSLY jealous of her. I have Clinique's black honey lipgloss in my cosmetic case to this day. I got it a few years ago, though it's in a silver tube, not a pot. My beautiful high-school friend used to wear blue eyeshadow all the time. Remember when that was all the rage?
I still like the big hair that was in style back then. I think the styles are very attractive even if they need to be updated just a bit. Big hair never goes out of style. Didn't Mahatma Gandhi say that? Or was it Confucius?
What a great thread!

It never went away, but there was a scent change. I have a bottle but it may have been purchased before the fragrance was altered. Next time I go to Walgreens I might try to find a tester.
Never mind. I just checked online for all the stores in my zipcode and it's out of stock.

Could this be the fragrance?
I loved wearing Maxi!
I had a little spray cannister of it. It was a really unique fragrance.

I loved the scent of Emeraude.
It was one of my maternal Gramma's favorite fragrances. We used to live next to her, so I would see her all of the time. She would let me try on her perfumes.
I liked it so much that she started buying it for me, too.
She used to buy fragrances for me as Christmas gifts, when they came in gift sets. She knew that I liked the ones that she wore, so she would buy them for me, too. Wearing them would remind me of her.
She liked Chantilly and Jovan Musk, and she would buy those for me at Christmas, too.
I think that the scent of Herbal Essence shampoo had changed. I remember buying a bottle in the 80's I think, and I think by then that it was already different from the scent of the 70's that everyone knew.
