phluphy, thank you for your concern for me. Oh yes, my DD is a huge blessing. My other kids too, but she lives with me. I feel sorry sometimes that she has to deal with my issues on top of her teaching job and the upkeep of the house, but she doesn't complain. I'm pretty self-sufficient as I know you are, but as I age, that will probably change. Well, we live in the moment, one day at a time and are told not to worry about tomorrow.

Hoping you've had a great day and will enjoy a restful night. It's the weekend again!

Hi possummink, the pictures of your area are so pretty. I remember going to the beach often as a teenager. Wall to wall people with blankets spread on the sand. We could leave our personal possessions there and go down to the water and nothing would be stolen. Times have changed. But the traffic is bad.

I know what you mean about not wanting to go to the doctor. If I tell mine anything at all, he is duty bound to send me to a specialist, who in turn is duty bound to order tests, scans, etc., which usually don't show anything serious or show something one just has to deal with.

I know there's something in my throat, so wouldn't be surprised if the GI doc wants further testing or wants me to see the ENT again.

It's been months of paper work, waiting, etc.

I got out to the store for about half an hour today, just for a few things. Was thankful for strength to do it. It helps to get out around life sometimes. I laid in a supply of eye drops, toothpaste, hair color, and a green container to hold things that are sitting on my closet floor. Looks a bit more organized now.

It's about 70 here today, but it's going up. Take care,

Thanks for the pictures.

Snappy, I'm so glad to hear that the results from your tests are okay. Prayers certainly do not go unanswered. Like our Phluphy said, your DD is such a blessing. You are truly loved. I like  your way of living... to live in the day. That's all we truly have. Have a blessed weekend. Big hugs!

Possum, thank you for the pictures. I wouldn't mind being on one of those beaches in Clearwater right now. It's been a chilly day in Ct. Take good care. Heart

Bookbabe, so good of you to stop by today. What a fun time your little GS will have. An Elmo party. Am really glad your family will be together for this special day. There's healing when those who loved our hubbies the most gather together whether or not we spend time talking about the memories. I look at the faces of my kids who are all OLD now, and think they are here because of the love hubby and I shared and am so thankful for them and the grands.

Our GD is getting married in June.

DD#1 married 2 years ago for the first time at the age of 58. My son walked her down the aisle wearing his dad's wedding ring on his pinkie finger and the grandsons wore his tie bars. He was there.

Blessings on you this weekend especially,

snappy Heart

Thank you for the kind words.  The Elmo party was a big success and yes just having the family all together is a  blessing.  Your daughters wedding and what your son and grandsons wore were so special.  Thank you for sharing.
