Hello ladies. I hope today is a good day for all of you. I welcome with saddness the new posters. May God give you peace and comfort.
Are some of you ladies mad at me? I never get acknowledged when I post. I hope I have not said anything to offend anyone. I love you all. I have an appointment today to get an exam for new glasses. Maybe that will help. Pray it does please.
Everyone have blessings and peace.

Halfpint1, Sorry for your loss, but am glad you came here. Pets are a big comfort, it is good you have a son close by. I too have TV on for sound, especially at night. It does help to get out even for a short walk. I read quite a bit, if you like to read I suggest buying a Kindle, many of the books are free and it is nice not to have to go out to Library or bookstore.
bobbi sue - I don't think anyone intentionally ignores you, I know for me, when I think about posting, it is hard to remember each of you so very often just do not post rather than leaving someone out.

Thanks, Bobbisue, I'm glad you enjoy the pictures. I hope that your new glasses will help you with your eyes and keeping your sight pretty good.
I am glad also that you were able to get your name back, close to what you had before. I had problems with that too, but didn't know who to email. I did call customer service and I finally figured out that I could just make the P in possummink a capital letter and get Possummink back as my nic.
Take care and keep warm. ![]()

Hello ladies....I just got back from the eye Dr. He checked my eyes and said I needed a much stronger perscription. I picked a pretty deep red frame. It looks good with my gray and dark hair.
i will pick them up on March 1. Can you believe that next month is March already? The glasses were over $400.00. That is just too much money.!!! I am trying to make the font bigger, but it's not workking. At least it is darker.
I have stopped smoking altogether. I am using the E-cig. It has very little nicatine in it. When I go back for another bottle I will get just vapor with no nicatine. I can breath better already. The lung Dr. said COPD is never cured, but is improved greatly when you stop smoking. I plan never to buy a pack of cigarettes again.
Does this new board have spell check? I can't seem to get it to work. If anyone knows how to increase the font size I would appreciate your imput please. I can't read what I write.
You all have a great rest of your day. .

Bobbisue, I'm sorry if didn't respond to your posts. I'd never be mad at you. ![]()
I'm glad that you are getting new glasses.... even if they are expensive. One can't put a price tag on eyesight.. plus you're worth it. I can't believe that it's almost March. Where oh where does the time go??!!
Congratulations on giving up smoking!! That's wonderful. Give yourself a big pat on the back.
I dont know know how to activate the spell check. Hopefully someone else will know.
Take good care! ![]()

Fran, I think to activate spell check or to have the spelling in a post checked, up in the reply box in the second row, last item, is a symbol
ABC with a check mark under it. When you are finished typing or any time, before you hit the word post, click on that ABC symbol and any misspellings will have a red line It has worked like that for me and so I think that's the only way to activate it. When you click on the underlined word a drop - down list of spelling words shows up and you just click on the correct word.

Bobbisue, I answered the spellcheck thingy in a post above this one.
On the same line, the second, that the spell check symbol is on, to the left of it are the words Font size with a downward pointing arrow. Click on that arrow and a drop down chart of font sizes appears. I am using 3 which might be too small for you so try 4.
This is size 3
This is size 4
This is size 5
When ever you want to change the font size, just go to the top of the reply box and click on the arrow.
I hope this helps. Let me know if this isn't what you meant.
Glad you got the new glasses and that is expensive. Do they ever offer an extra pair for free or at a reduced price? I have readers all over the place as I am always looking for the ones I had, so since they are cheap, I buy multiples of them.
Good for you not buying cigarettes any more. You will feel better, breathe easier and enjoy the taste of food more too. That's what happened to my husband, long ago, and to my brother about 15 years ago or so.
I am putting this in bold print, hoping it's easier for you to read.
