Halfpint, I'm so, so sorry to hear about your loss. Thank God that you have your two kitties to love and take care of. For the first couple of years after I lost my DH I didn't have a pet. Looking back now I don't know how I did it. I have a puppy ... well ... he'll be two on the 24th of this month.... so I guess he's not a puppy now. LOL It's amazing what wonderful companions animals are. Be very gentle with yourself, and nurture yourself. I also did the same, and still do, try to take a walk outside. Nature has always healed me. Bless your sweet heart. Please stay close to us. You are not alone. We'll help you through. Fran

Possum, thank your sweet heart for the pictures. The last one of the stream touched my soul. That looks just like the stream that I'd always go to when I was growing up. Beautiful picture!

Hi Phluphy, Silk and Bobbisue!

Silk, I'm so happy that I have retained my ability to read. Reading a good book brings me so much joy. I am truly amazed at how far you've come. I think it's wonderful that you always take the time to welcome new posters, and offer your hope, experience and love.
