Possummink, Wow, the pictures are just so fantastic....love all of them.  The kitty with the baby chicks is so cute, wasn't sure what I was seeing.  You find some wonderful  pictures, thanks so much.

Snappy hopefully all your tests will be over soon an you can get your results.  Wishing you well.  Saying a prayer for you too.

Midweek already..we had bad weather the last couple of days, snow, ice, heavy rain and then the sun came out and it was 54 degrees.  Go figure.

Watching the Westminster Dog Show, German shorthaired pointer won.  Love to see all the breeds.  Boxer like Benzi came in Second, wonderful.

All the best to the ladies on this forum.

I am new here for this was my Valentine present. I went into dh's room to make sure his oxygen was in his nose for he had a tendency to take it out. I am going to read this now but I am wondering what you ladies do during the day. I don't drive so I am mostly a stay at home but I do try to take a walk. I am not a strict housekeeper. I have 2 cats so I give my love to them. Television is on for noise. I have only one child who lives near and he is a big help to me.

Welcome halfpint1.  I do drive so I get out when I want too but, when I am home I love to read a good book and I like to cook so I am always looking through my cookbooks or online for new and diferent recipes to make. I don't watch a lot of TV but many years ago I got hooked on watching a Soap opera and I still do. I usually have lunch when it is on, so its like having company when I eat.  I also for Christmas from my kids received a couple of the new adult coloring books with gel pens and I have been trying to color a picture and decide on the colors I want to use,  been many years since I have done this but it is very relaxing and time comsuming. I've cleaned out every closet in the house and donated items to the Goodwill.   I also try to take a daily walk just to get some fresh air. I  love football so when its their season I am a avid watcher. Love to listen to 50's music on my CD player when I am doing something around the house reminds me of my youth with my DH.    To me it is very important to keep busy so that I am not dwelling all the time on the loss of my DH who I miss so very much and feeling so very lonely. My house is so quiet without him. In the beginning I had my TV on all the time just for the noise, now I am trying to be active and do things to keep myself  busy.  I hope I have given you one or two ideas you could do.

Halfpint.   I am so sorry to read about your husband.   I hope you find peace and comfort remembering happy times in the past.  I'm glad  you have your two kitties for company and to cuddle.   Take care of yourself.  Sending prayers and hugs.
