@luvmybonnie

Luvmybonnie,   I am so sorry to read about your sad loss.  I hope you will find peace and comfort in happy memories and the support of family and friends.

There are no set rules for grieving, as we each deal with our loss in our own ways and that is how it should be.   Cry when you need to, rant when you have to, be angry if you need to be,  it's ok, it's normal.  Only you know how you feel and what you need.   Just be sure to rest, eat well, and take care of you.   Be gentle with you.   One day at a time!!  One step at a time!  Don't be rushed into any important or big decisions.  Give yourself time to sort things out as now emotions might cloud your decisions.  As I mentioned, be gentle with yourself.

Sending prayers and some hugs!!

Thank you for the kind words. (If this doesn't post correctly please forgive me.  I haven't posted much, and not at all since the format of the boards changed.)

Welcome!!  I am so sorry for your loss and we here  on this thread know how painful the loss is. I know for myself it is one day at a time. My DH has been gone seven years come Octoberr and there isn't a day I don't thnk about him or miss him. Seems like just yesterday I heard him laugh or saw his sweet face. I found there are stages we all go through. I can promise you it will get better, they say time is a healer and to some degree it is true but you will always miss that special person. I found keeping busy is very helpful  so I don't constantly think about the loss, or how quiet the house is without him. I always liked being part of a couple and depended on my DH for so many things I have had to learn to do. The nice thing about this thread is someone is always here so if you just need to let off some steam we are here for you. Because we have been where you are we understand, are not judgemental  and are very good listners. I found that a real life saver for me. Please come often, let us know how you are doing. Heart
