Hi possummink, are you getting things done on your house? Prayed for someone you could trust to help you.

If hubby were here, today would be our 64th anniversary. It's okay, I know he is in the presence of his Lord and I'll be there one day.

Found out yesterday that GS#2 and his girlfriend...soon to be wife...are expecting a baby next summer. So I'll be a great grandma for the first time, if the Lord lets me live that long.

Sort of a shocker, but I already love that little one.

Already wished you a Happy Anniversary on another thread----could not pass up congratulating you on becoming a Great Grandma,  There's no greater feeling than holding a precious new baby in your arms.  Your probably counting the days.

Image result for great grandma

Snappy,  It took a while, but I found a photo that I think is cool about your coming Great-grandma status.   Congratulations and I know you'll be so happy and proud to cuddle that precious little bundle in your arms. Heart

I love the pillow!  And there is nothing like holding a sweet little baby.

My day consists of the guys putting on my new roof, then the buzzer (?) quit working on my gas range,  did not quit, but buzzed all the time - ha.   The repairman came and of course, the part to fix it is no longer available.  But I did get good news yesterday, finally received an estimate on repairing my living room and I accepted it.   So hopefully that will be soon, it seems like the neighbors are moving about as fast or as slow as I am about getting repairs from the tornado.

It is nice and sunny here today, but supposed to be colder the rest of the week.

possummink, thank you for thinking of me yesterday. It was a hard day not just because of the anniversary, but because my best friend's hubby went Home and it was a sudden shocking thing so my heart is heavy for her. And then the baby on the way. Hope they will be happy together. And today is a hard day no matter which way things go.

It's probably 90 or more here today. My ballot didn't come, so I'm praying it's in today's mail. Otherwise DD will have to take me in the walker or wheelchair up to vote provisionally. That could be done, but hope it doesn't have to happen.

Our friend is coming to cut our hair around dinner time. It's been too long.

Hi Jamma, good to see you. Don't know where else you posted, so thank you for coming here. I found out on Sunday that a new life is going to enter the world and I'll be a great grandma and then yesteday was hard, but life goes on and it's good.

You're right that there's nothing like holding a little baby. They just feed the soul in some way. And this one will carry hubby's last name which really matters to me. Our other grandson and his wife don't want kids and our GD and her hubby do but have a different last name. So it's special.

How are things going for you?
