Hi possummink, wish you could be where you prefer the weather, but you have your arrangement about where you live. It's been close to 90 here too, but it looked and felt like a storm last night. We did get rain. There are puddles outside, and dark clouds. We will take it while we can.

I wouldn't be able to do that shopping now. Glad you can. Golf is something I've never found interesting at all. Do you play? I think that would make a difference. I saw it advertised and know it was important.

Yes, DD will be glad for summer break. I think there are 23 more school days. Thursday is Open House which is a big deal on the primary level. SO much art work to laminate and lots of things to hang around the room.

She is working her fingers every day, and they hurt. Tuesday is PT. She's busy putting together the slide show for Open House and also working on a retirement party for 4 teachers.

Tufted Coquette

Hi Snappy,   Sometimes I have a problem with walking the long distances in the Malls and even with parking at Church    I let myself get out of shape and need to build up my core strength again.   I don't like walking here in the hot sun and humidity and at night there are the mosquitoes.   Guess I'll find any excuse I can to avoid a lot of walking.  Plain lazy might describe me.

My doggone sinuses are kicking up a storm down here.  At home, they'd calmed down a lot, even with all the pollens we had floating around in the air and covering the cars etc.   Something has caused the sneezing, coughing and nose problems already.   Only been here 10 days and this started a couple of days back.   

I taught 3rd grade, back when I taught full time.  When I subbed I had all grade school levels and much prefer 3rd grade.  Now day's,  I would not even sub.   I was as bad as the kids, looking forward to days off, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and of course 3 months off in the summer.     My granddaughters get out of school in about 10 days and my grandson, here in FL, gets out around the 10th of June.   Hard to believe this year is getting close to being half over.
