Texas Hill Country.:

Hi Snappy and Friends,   I am home in Missouri and it's cool and sunny this afternoon.   Yesterday when the plane landed it was rainy and cool and that was so nice for a change.   It rained and then thunderstorms moved in and made for great sleeping weather.   I had my bedroom window open so I could hear nature's sounds.  It was chilly, in the 40ies and will be down in the low 40ies again tonight.

I did some catching up on sleep yesterday late afternoon and off and on on the sofa while 'watching' TV.   I'd only gotten a couple of hours sleep before my flight and dozed on the plane, but not really restful sleep.

I hope your X-ray will lead to some help for you, Snappy.  Glad you were able to have it done.  If I remember correctly, you were all having some rain too.

I'm just fixing pot pies for supper tonight.  I didn't get moving early enough this morning to get to the store today.  Have had some connectivity problems with this computer today.   Wish I'd brought the other one home with me as it's been connected here before.  This Dell hasn't been on my WIFI or DSL systems before and says there's a protocol missing,  I've no clue what that means.

Have a peaceful evening,, Everyone. .  Heart

Hi Possummink and Friends:

Glad to hear your made it home safe and sound to Missouri.  Sounds like the change in weather has been good for your sleeping, isn't it wonderful to sleep with the window open and feel the cool breeze coming in and pulling the covers up and catching a few more winks?  I cannot sleep on a plane I guess too nervous and anxious to get back down to earth.

Did ask my DS about the bakery and he did not know of it, doesn't surprise me he eats healthy and goes to the gym almost everyday unlike his Mother. He  doesn't look for places that have wonderful breads and treats. I found a new restaurant bakery about thirty minutes from home and was so excited to get there, it was disappointing the food was just okay and the bakery wasn't what I had hoped for. I did bring home a couple loves of bread, one was a cinnamon raisin that I plan to use some for french toast for breakfast and the other is a five grain with seeds on top that I am sure will be great for sandwiches. I also splurged on some bear claws to enjoy with coffee.  Sure wish the old time bakeries would make a comeback here but I think they just can't compete with the chain stores. Let me know if you find the bakery on 5th street  and how great it is.

Hope you get the computer working well for you we are all addicted to all the wonderful pictures you put up for us to enjoy. Love the Red Pandas they are such clowns and for me the squirrel's are delightful, love the one sleeping on its back made me smile was so sweet.

Have a good week ahead and enjoy being home.Heart

Tybee Island, Georgia We vacationed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. LOVE IT THERE!! Sundae Cafe is the best place to eat.:

Tybee Island, near Savannah, GA.   Love this area, as it's on the Atlantic Ocean, which I love.  Climbed the Tybee Island Lighthouse about 4 or 5 years ago.  Lots of stairs, but the sight from the top was awesomly beautiful.   Going back down was so much easier. Cat Very Happy
