Possummink, thank you so much for your concern. It is a blessing to have my Grandchildren come help me. Actually my GS was very close with Poppa, my husband loved music, he played the Accordian, took lessons from age 7. He played beautifully! So he had a Casio keyboard with stand and I gave it to my GS, which he was so happy to get. We found other things too. But he sent me a picture where he set it up in his room and wants to go on you tube to learn how to play...If his Poppa was here he would have taught him. Yes, I have found a place closer, it's a condo, which is really making me downsize. Hopefully I can sell, donate, or just give away some of my overflow. I really love Christmas, but have way too many things. You don't realize how much, until you have to move!!!! Bless you for all the beautiful pictures. Won't be posting for awhile as this is going to be a hectic week or so.
Love to all my wonderul friends on this forum. Blessings to all!

Hello friends. We had rain for quite a long time late yesterday afternoon and all evening. It was so humid, but we were thrilled with it. Thunder and lightning also. We are thankful. No need to water yesterday, and we can't for 48 hours after measurable rain.
phluphy, I appreciate your concern for my DD. She will get a rental car tomorrow. Has been busy with her insurance company and just resting. She's sore, but not terribly. Tomorrow she has an already scheduled appointment with her retinol specialist. A blow like that big jolt could cause problems there. It feels okay, but it will be good to have it checked. It's her only seeing eye. Thank you for your prayers for her. This mom appreciates them. Glad your hubby's keyboard has a new home with your GS. I'm sure he will try to learn how to use it. That's just so sweet. Oh, don't we ever collect things? And my family doesn't want or need all my stuff. We have Christmas decorations in the garage that we can't get to unless one of the guys comes. Not even sure what it all is, but we also have others that we found a home for in the garage where we can reach them. The Q's Christmas in July is making me want to decorate!
possummink, oh, a cradad or crayfish! I've heard both terms, but am really ignorant about shell fish. The fire on the freeway was scary. The friend who comes to cut our hair was here yesterday. Her hubby was one in the water dropping aircraft. He loves it, but she doesn't watch the TV coverage when she knows he's likely working. Did your DD get home to MO? Driving straight through would make me nervous also, but people do what they want.
Bobbisue, thanks for giving MamaS some directions in case her absence here is because she doesn't know how to log on. I'm really concerned about her. Hope you are having a nice day.
Fran, I saw your post on ShowMe's thread. You are such a sweetie. The picture of that boxer with the crawdad is so interesting. Thank you also for your interest in my DD. I don't know how fast that man was driving, but I've seen the picures of her car, and it's a mess. Hope they don't total it since it's a good car, paid for, etc. Hugs to you dear friend.

Snappy, My daughter and granddaughters did drive all the way from the Tampa area to their home in St Peter's, MO. She left DS's home around 8:30 or so yesterday morning and got home about 3:10, I'm guessing as that's the time my granddaughter sent me a text saying 'they'd made it'. My son and I both told her to stop for the night, especially after a very long traffic delay in Atlanta, (as usual), and some construction delays in Chattanooga, etc. Nearing Atlanta, she made 56 miles in 3 hours. She was fit to be tied about then, as she called ranting about the traffic in Atlanta on a Saturday afternoon.
I hope your daughter's aches and pains from the accident go away soon and that she has a good report from the eye doctor too. I don't blame your friend for not watching TV news coverage of those fires. Her husband is a hero for trying to help put those flames out, but it's such a dangerous job. I'd be scared to watch too.
Fran, I think the British Isles are one of the most beautiful places on this Earth. I am amazed that England has so much beautiful and peaceful places still, after all these years of being inhabited by humans. Their history goes so far back and so many of the old villages, buildings, even the ruins are just stunningly beautiful. So pastoral. I have been watching the British Open Golf Tournament and love seeing the old town of St. Andrews, the coast line and any local shots. My son has been to England numerous times, but hasn't made it to Scotland or Ireland. My DH did go there and to the Isle of Man. He was stationed in Germany for 3 years when he was in the Air Force.
Have a lovely start to the new week everyone.
