Good morning all. SNAPPY and PHLUPHY. thank you both for the kind words. My cousin and I weren't close, however it made me sad for all of those years wasted. Life does go on however, and like all of you, I have to keep putting one foot in front of the other. PHLUPHY, I have been thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. You will make it through the challenges ahead. and you will come out a stronger lady. It's so important to take things one day at a time. I know I sound like a broken record, however it's so important . You can do it! I love you . You are such a treasure. POSSUMMINK, those boxer pictures that you posted are a riot! I love them all. Thank you so much! Like our SNAPPY said, there are so many posters missing. Please let us know how you're doing. It's so important to try to keep this thread going.

Phluphy,   I'm sorry that you are faciing some difficult times and hope and pray that things work out well for you.   I know it sounds easy to say,  but prayers and positive thoughts do help and are coming your way.  Take good care of yourself and give that good kittyHeart a hug and tummy rub for me. Cat Happy

I hope you were able to get some rest.  That's so important.

Hi possummink, and thanks again for the fun pictures and the ones that are so beautiful. It's odd here today. Humid (for us) and overcast. Wish for some big old rain storm.

phluphy, so sorry things are hard right now. Our Fran is right that it's one day at a time, and sometimes one minute at a time. Things will get better. Thanks for the kind words about my dad. We did get things settled between us long before he went to be with the Lord he so loved. He never even met his dad, and was raised by grandparents. We continue to pray that you feel better physically. That will help your mood, and vice versa.

Fran, I agree about it being important to keep this thread going, but am not sure how to do it. Am thinking some may have given up trying to post, and some may not feel the need any longer. Do take good care of yourself, dear friend.

Hello to everyone of you reading here. We love you and would welcome hearing from you.

Rain is here again in Northeast Ohio.. I've realized I need to buy a chain saw (of some kind) and a weed wacker, so off to Home Depot I will go in the next few days.. The push lawnmower is still being repaired with no idea when I'll get it back, keeping my fingers crossed the riding mower keeps working! Gosh how I hate the yardwork that was one of Dannys projects, I'm learning though... I'm feeling a little better this week, I just need to learn how to ride the roller coaster of emotions and realize that is how it will be every now and again..

Love and Gods Blessing to all of you.. I hope that your sadness turns into happiness,  your aliments each up and become manageable, we all find more peace than turmoil in our journys..

Butterfly Amaryllis

Hi Snappy,   I wish it'd rain for you.   I noticed earlier that DS's first habanero pepper plant was in a bad wilting situation so I went out watered it,  and the other plants, filled the birdbaths and then put the hose against the 'trunk' of that plant and let the hose drip water which will go directly to the roots.   About 20 minutes later, my son says,  didn't you just water?  I said yes, and he pointed to the back yard and it was raining.  I told him it was because I watered.

I hope this thread keeps going too.   Many Ladies who don't post read and I am hoping it helps them.   It did for me, before I started posting and becoming active in it.   I hope the others will find us here.   No thanks to QVC for making it hard to navigate here now.

Lady of Shalott. Love the color combination. I planted lavender around my Mary Magdalene rose for the same effect

DannysWife.....yipee, so good to see you here today. Sorry about the need to take over the yard work and for trouble with mowers, etc. We don't need to do any of that. DD has made contact with a landscape artist to come and help us figure out what to do with that big planter with the RR ties, and to talk about taking out the front lawn and putting in drought resistant plants. Might all be too pricy, but we have to at least do something with the planter. Yes, things are up and down. Yesterday I got a lovely card from the wife of my long time GYN (until he lost his job). He has Alzheimers and is in care facility. Made me so sad. I'm going to write her and offer my email in case she wants to talk. We've never met, but she says she feels like she knows me. Her hubby and I have the same birthday, so I used to send him cards and that's how she knows who I am. I think it would be so hard for one's spouse to still be here physically, but to be off in some other world and maybe not even know who we are. It's a slow death, and I can tell she's grieving. Thank you for keeping in touch and helping this thread to stay afloat. It's very important.

Hi possummink, wish getting rain were as easy out here, but we are limited as to when and how long we can water. Hope your son's pepper plants hang in there. Yes, I know many people read and don't post, or wait a while to see if they feel comfortable enough to do so. Hope you are feel well.

snappyfrappy, and possummink you are both an inspiration to us here.  Between your caring snappy, of course possummink also...and those beautiful pictures.  I fall in love with the kitties, that's a given.  Thank you both so much.

Dannyswife, how wonderful you can do the yard work, I couldn't run my husbands tractor but my GS could, he loves to mow.  Be careful with a chain saw, they can be tricky to use.  I didn't realize when my Husband was no longer here how much he did in the yard.  I still can look out an enjoy all the plantings he did.  Beautiful Daylilies too.  Pace yourself when doing yard work, especially on warm days.  All the best to you.

Babyfran, you are such a blessing to me.  Thanks for listening...going for my PT tomr and then on to my Sons for lunch.  Boy the time sure does fly by.  It started raining here and it is cooling off a bit.  Suppose to have strong thunderstorms tonight.

Stay well everyone and have a nice week-end...tomr is Friday already.  God Bless you all!!
